The place was overall ok. Our tv didn’t work, our keys stopped working the second night there and my boyfriend made two trips back down to the front desk to get the reprogrammed.

We had a reservation and had paid for the room for 2 nights. The traffic on our route was terrible. I called ahead and told them we would be a late check-in. When we arrived at midnight, I went in to check in. I was told by the person on the desk, "Linda", that no rooms were available. I told her that I had documentation and a receipt from Expedia showing that we had paid for the room. Linda was not interested in the paperwork. I asked her to call the other Red Roof Inns. She went into the other room and came back and told me that they did not answer their phones. She did not offer to help me find a room elsewhere. My son (who I was traveling with) came in and asked if there was a problem. I explained the problem and he was very unhappy. Linda joked and said the room had been rented to Carlos and that is close to my name Carole. She asked why I was upset and I explained that I had nowhere to sleep that night. She was not apologetic or caring that she had given our room to someone else. I asked for a refund and Linda told me that I would have to contact Expedia.

Very old and outdated, the door barely latched closed and the locks were flimsy. The bathroom was quite dirty and musty. The vents were disgustingly black and fuzzy and the room had a weird smell. I’m also not positive that our pillowcases had been changed considering we found several hairs that weren’t ours. It’s right next to the freeway so don’t expect it to be quiet with all the road noise, but at least it’s a cheaper option to sleep.

The images of this property are outdated! The hotel has seen a great deal of hard use with insufficient cleaning and repair since the photos were taken. Our room had a slight but noticeable odor upon entering, but not so bad we had to leave. The room door did not fully close/secure when closed. The room very run down, especially the bathroom. The vinyl flooring was dirty, and the walls had smudges, dents, and holes in them. The shower was the worst part of the room, with visible mold and a peeling/damaged tub surround that was repaired by just painting over it. The shower curtain was torn, and the tub was dirty. An additional concern was that there appeared to be multiple vehicles in the parking lot with people sleeping in them. There seems to be good camera coverage, however, and our vehicle was fine. We had booked another night at this hotel at the end of our trip (before flying home) but canceled it after this initial stay due to how displeased we were with the state of the hotel.

The AC didn't work the entire 4 days i was there and all the guy offered was to open the window. When we got there to room smelled pretty bad and nothing was done about it so i went out to buy things to make my room smell better.

The AC unit was noisy and the buttons were broken so we could not turn it off. The rooms were not very clean, we stayed 2 nights and when we returned the floors were not swept. The guests from upstairs made noise up until 2 o'clock in the morning and were up early at it again.

The interior of this hotel is in desperate need of upgrades. Carpets need replaced, the bathroom floor laminate tiles were curled up, i almost tripped in the bathroom. The bed wasn't bad, but the pillows were junk. The rooms could have used a bit more cleaning (coffee splattered on wall by coffee maker). The front office staff were all friendly and checking in and checking out was pretty easy. The location was good. They allowed 1 small pet ( BONUS, the reason we booked here)The price wasn't bad, but I'll shop around a bit more before booking here again.

ROACHES! ROACHES! ROACHES! I have a video recording of a roach cruising around in the bathroom/shower area. When I brought this to the front desk attention, they offered to switch my room. I respectfully declined and checked out early. Also, the photos of the property/rooms on Expedia are NOT consistent with the actual property and rooms! The actual property and rooms are dingy—dingy walls, elevators, carpets. Its smelly and appeared to be housing facility for people on drugs—there were a lot of questionable people hanging out in the lobby and in front of the hotel—-I should have turned around at that very moment.

Laminate flooring torn and worn, no fan in bathroom so towels and floor and walls were always wet. Sink was only a sink no vanity. Checked in for 3 days for three people. One two sets of towels. Front desk said I could come and get more. No coffee pot. Would have checked out but there was nothing available. We will never stay there again.
