Great place to stay

Posted Jul 23, 2016
Pros: All my family was there. There was room for them all to site around.
Cons: Can't think of a thing. All services were available during their work
Location: Near Fiesta Mall which is undergoing change, too. Great Greek restaurant there. Also not far from the Light rail station.
The hotel was under renovation, but it did not affect me at all. In fact, I had a room at the back which overlooked a golf course.

Hi there, Thanks so much for taking the time to offer a review on your recent visit to the Residence Inn Phoenix Mesa. We can't agree more that our location is ideal- we're so close to all the Valley's major highways as well as in walking distance to great restaurants and shopping! We are also so glad to hear that you enjoyed your suite... the space to spread out and our newly renovated look are such great perks. We look forward to having you back some day! Thank you, Macey D, General Manager

Perfect.

Friendly and attentive staff, spacious and comfortable with good amenities. I don't see why anyone would stay anywhere else in Mesa within a tight schedule and budget!

Kept disappointing us

Posted Jun 4, 2015
Cons: As above
Location: Phoenix is a great place to visit, with loads to do
In a few key points: - Everything needs upgrading – everything is dated and smells old - The AC unit is SO loud in the room that it wakes you up in the night, and the ventilation system allows cockroaches and spiders in - Breakfast is OK, but the same thing every day and they don't check the dates on things, as loads of the yoghurts were out of date - There are no ovens in the rooms (just a microwave and a hob), so not sure how the hotel can claim 'full kitchen' is included - All the crockery was dirty so had to be put through the dishwasher before use - The hotel location is pretty good – near to the highway and to loads of restaurants and shops, which was the only blessing It wasn't a cheap stay either. I certainly wouldn't come back here.

Minimal for the $

Posted Mar 18, 2015
Pros: Location
Location: Spring training fields for professional baseball
Hotel could use some refresh; good location for all that wish to see the spring training games for baseball which likely caused the seemingly high price for a basic suite type room

Hi Bill, I'd like to thank you for the honest feedback. We are in a perfect location for Spring Training and the hotel fills up pretty quickly during this time of year for that reason... whether your a Cubs or an As fan, this is the place to be! We are looking forward to an upcoming renovation and hope that you'll be back next year to experience the changes and have some fun at the ballparks again. Thanks again, Macey D, General Manager

Old Hotel

Posted Jan 21, 2015
Hotel needs upgrade. While staff is friendly they need to check rooms out for maintenance, toilet leaked. Dishes were dirty and had to be washed. I was not pleased with the room . Rugs needed to be cleaned. Entirely dissatisfied with the room

Hi Jim, We want to apologize again for the dissappointing stay. It was our hope to provide you with a relaxing home-away-from-home during your evenings with us.. I know all you were looking for was somewhere to stay rather than the hospital with your wife. I hate that we were unable to impress you. Please know that your experience is not typical of our hotel and we look forward to a chance to overcome the hard feelings. Thank you, Macey D, General Manager

Air freshener needed

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: For a free breakfast, it was really good! And all the staff we met were very nice and professional.
Cons: The odor in the hallways and rooms.
Location: Mesa, AZ has some great restaurants. Try The Lost Dutchman Coffeehouse .... best cup of coffee around!
We spend 3 nights at Residence Inn. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and came included with the room... always a bonus! The bed was surprisingly comfortable. There was a terrible odor in our room upon check in that never was resolved even though the room was cleaned everyday. In fact, there was a funny odor in the hallway outside our room as well.
