One window was featuring this clever art of Fruits and Veggies come to life. Just at dawn, the sun made these lovely rays reaching skyward. I love old doors from the southwest . The original building dates back to the 1800's Not quite the shot I wanted, but it is still neat to see the dawn hit this cactus. This place was shown on the Food Network View from the very top of Camelback Mountain. Really great for those who enjoy climbing. Don't miss getting your picture taken with the Cowboy Sign ! Only problem is you have to time it with the cross-walk crossing light because in order to take the picture you have to stand in the street.
Not sure they really thought it through when they put it in.

Utilizing the flowing water of the canal to produce power, Arizona Falls was also the site of the first hydroelectric plant in Phoenix. Originally built in 1902, the plant was rebuilt by SRP in 1911, began delivering power again in 1913 and was eventually shut down in 1950.
Arizona Falls, formed by a natural 20-foot drop along the Arizona Canal between what is now 56th and 58th streets, reopened in June 2003 as a restored hydroelectric plant and neighborhood gathering place where visitors can learn, interact and reflect.
The new Arizona Falls combines art, history and technology to generate clean electricity from the canal's waterfall.
