Great for a special getawayPosted Jul 24, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel inside was gorgeous! IT was very clean and beautiful. I expected a bit more from the pool area as it was so so. Staff were very nice and courteous. Food was outrageous in terms of price (I know, its the Ritz so deal with it) so just know that going in. On Saturday they have an afternoon tea which my wife wants to come back to try it. Room was very nice, clean and bed was comfortable. Our Coffee machine in our room did not work and as we were checking out told the front office person who said "thanks, we will take care of it". It was a nice getaway evening but for us a bit too high brow. It would be a fantastic hotel for an anniversary or other very special occasion. The hotel was not for me but my wife loved it.

Over priced and not kept up. Room dingyPosted May 30, 2015
Pros: The location and some staff members were friendly and accommodating!
Cons: Cleanliness, room keys,
Our overall experience was good because of our friends and what we were there for. The food in lounge was good. However, our bed the sheets kept coming off and the mattress was exposed! Not good! We arrived a day early and asked if we they could accommodate us one day early, they checked and they could get this for $57 dollars cheaper than the Expedia rate with our AAA card, that was very disappointing, FOR SURE. I will always check with the hotel first when booking a room. That upset me! Thanks for reading this 😊.

Do not stay here!Posted May 19, 2015 on Hotels
Not at all what I expected from a Ritz Carlton. I have stayed at many of the properties around the world and this was the first time I was disgusted. The furniture was old and tattered, the carpet was stained, hard water build up around the shower door and an empty honor bar.

Great locationPosted May 5, 2015 on Hotels
The stay as fine, exceeded my expectations. The room was a bit classic/perhaps "dated" but it was fine. I simply prefer more modern hotels. The pool is small, it is a "splash pool" that doesn't really facilitate much swimming,

Old and Tired.Posted Mar 13, 2015
Restaurant closed on Monday and Tuesday nights. That is sad. Carpets stained/filthy. Big name, good location, good staff/service and the facility is a total embarrassment to the Ritz Carlton brand.

Disappointing for a ritz Carlton.Posted Feb 24, 2015 on Hotels
The public space is beautifully furnished and in excellent condition. The pool is ridiculously small, and decidedly not luxurious. No jacuzzi. No Spa. The guestrooms are tiny, and are very disapointing for ritz standards. Tiny bathrooms as well.

Winter weather get awayPosted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: The staff
Cons: The room was nice, however, I wish it had a balcony … should have noticed that upon booking.
Location: The hotel is located across the street from a shopping mall (Cheesecake Factory, Macy's, etc…) and right next door to office bldgs and an AMC theatre.
Just wanted to escape the cold winter weather for a few days. Booked at the Ritz … not really having any agenda for our trip. The hotel was located within the business district; stores for shopping/dining directly across Camelback Road. The staff at the Ritz is exceptional. If we had to do the trip over, we'd have booked a hotel in Scottsdale … we really loved that area.

Amazing Customer ServicePosted Sep 30, 2014
Amazing service! I accidentally booked my two nights for the wrong weekend and when I arrived the weekend before they still honored the great deal I found on Expedia! They were super friendly and accommodating. The hotel staff were amazing. They were all happy and helpful.
