Picture Perfect!

Posted Mar 21, 2017
Pros: Everything!
This was our first time staying at that Wigwam and it wont be our last! We loved everything about it. The beautiful grounds and flowers, the excellent staff, the music and entertainment at night. It was perfect in every way!

Quaint hotel with unique set up.

Posted Mar 20, 2017
Pros: The set up.
The property is situated in a residential area, surrounded by a golf course. From arrival to departure, the staff was very helpful and went above and beyond for our stay. The rooms are in adobe casitas which provide a nice break from the typical hotel building.

Spring Training at the Wigwam

Posted Mar 8, 2017
Pros: Casual yet elegant. Does not feel like a hotel. VERY close to Dodger Ranch
Location: A stone's throw from Dodger Spring Training at Camelback Ranch. Cardinal Stadium is also very close. A large shopping center is also close by.
Very close to Dodger Spring Training at Camelback Ranch. Wonderful casual dining at the Red Bar, outside under the stars, with lots of heaters, and live entertainment. Lots of things for the kids to do, so they're out of the way. Highly Recommend. A pricy compared to nearby Spring Training hotels, but the casual, yet elegant element is worth the extra $50-75.

Beautiful hotel

Posted Mar 3, 2017
Very charming! Will definitely be back. Wonderful facilities and close to the ballpark, which was perfect to watch the Dodgers play, even though it is a distance to Scottsdale and Phoenix. It truly is a special place!

Nice resort hotel not so close to PHX

Posted Feb 28, 2017
Pros: Serenity
Cons: Make sure you don't need to go downtown PHX during peak traffic 6.30am -9.30am and 3.30pm -6.30pm.
Pleasant resort hotel 20 miles north west of PHX that takes at least a 1 hour drive in stop start traffic to get into midtown in the am and a 1 hour drive in peak traffic from PHX to Litchfield Park.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced

Posted Feb 27, 2017
My family has stayed at this resort for 4 generations. I had fond memories of this place as a child, and brought my wife and son here in hopes they'd have fond memories as well. What a disappointment. The hotel is poorly staffed, and at every turn there was bad service and mistreatment. We sat at the Red bar and grill and ate our entire buffet without a single waiter asking for our drink order or checking on us. Then main restaurant didn't even open before dinner. The room service tray stayed outside our for 2 days. But the worst...the absolute worst part was the fact that they made a biking mistake and put us out on the street at peak rush hour traffic. We extended our stay for 2 days due to car trouble, but the front desk screwed up and only booked one. On the second day we get a phone call we have been locked out and the hotel is fully booked. On a Tuesday. We were shocked and in disbelief. We actually believe this was a lie and the staff deliberately decided to be "booked" when we got upset at the lockout and booking error. I have many other small complaints about our stay but I've said enough. Please do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. No one cares about you here!

It’s disheartening to read that your recent visit did not meet your expectations. Your feedback does not reflect a typical stay with us and we regret falling short on providing you with the experience you had anticipated for your family. We hope to have the chance to regain your trust. Thank you.

Beautiful!

Posted Feb 26, 2017
Pros: The spa was a lovely experience. Prices very reasonable for a resort spa.
Cons: The landscapers were out way, way too early in the morning (8-8:30am)!
Location: Lots on property (3 golf courses, spa, pools, including kids pool with 2 slides, restaurants, bars. Located in regular community with malls, etc.
The grounds are gorgeous with multiple varieties of cactus & succulents. The many flowers were a lovely surprise for February, even in AZ! Staff was exceptional!

Very disappointed.

Posted Feb 22, 2017
Lousy parking, art fair blocked access to our room several times during our stay, internet was up and down and was a hassle to use, water puddles in front of door.......very expensive.....,additional daily room fee for internet, use of the pool at $31 per day is not reasonable. One night there was no parking at all so we parked on the grass like several other people and got a notice we would get a ticket if we didn't move our car.......where did they want us to park......outside the resort?

Worst Night. Don't stay here!

Posted Feb 13, 2017
Stayed here after getting married. Checked in at 1am and requested a late check-out so we could sleep in, which I paid extra for. We were very tired after long day and Was woken up by 3 different maids while I had the do not disturb sign on the door. 2 came into the room and the other was stopped by the chain on the door. They told me that I was suppose to checkout at 11 although I paid extra to stay till 5. My card keys were then disconnected and I was told to drive to the reception to get new ones. I told front desk about the maids but they did not seem to care. I also Called room service 5 times and got message recording. Had to call front desk to get someone to call me for room service. Worst 15 hour stay that I have ever had. I never drove to the front for new key cards, I just checked out and left.
