We stayed here because of the pool and the price. My first time to Thailand, visiting from Hawaii. Standards are night and day. The hotel was old but in good shape. Service staff were very friendly and attentive. Highlights of the hotel were the size of our room, the large pool and a sweet little kitty cat welcomed us every morning at breakfast, helping us with missing our kitties from home. Would stay here again.

My best stay ever
This was my 5th holiday in Phuket and the 3rd time in Karon. What contributed to this one being the best was my stay at Andaman Seaview hotel. Its well placed, have beautiful views, is close to the beach, restaurants and pubs. I would recommend this hotel to any person, family or group of friends that's looking for affordable accommodation that includes all. Thank you Andaman Seaview.

Good hotel good staff
The hotel is beautiful and peaceful with a good breakfast and the staff was veey helpful and helped me with a convenient early checkout and not miss my cab to phiphi islands for which i was late.

Ok for a cheaper resort 5 nights 60AUD per night.Rooms are a bit dated and run down, “cleaned” daily, beach bag and towels provided, big breakfast daily, Good location, friendly helpful staff 50m to karon beach, close to food and shops, 10-15min walk to karon town, kata beach 15 walk or 200thb tuktuk nice swimming, Patong 300thb tuktuk

It is the hotel staff that makes this hotel great!
I have been to Phuket many times and have stayed in many of their hotels and this is by far the best hotel i have stayed in. It is near the beach with the staffs are always ready with a smile and very accommodating. Made our holiday one of the best we have ever been to. Facilities were decent although the pool could have been cleaner.

Very comfortable, pleasant hotel, close to beach
What a treat to stay here again. It was our 2nd time there and we were not disappointed. We were pleasantly surprised by an upgrade to deluxe rooms and felt totally refreshed from the time we received the cool washcloth and welcome drink on arrival, to entering a clean and cool room! There are great restaurant nearby, and vendors making Thai pancakes and fried icecream! People in this area are great! The beach is clean with beautiful sand and not crowded ... Very relaxing location!

Perfect Holiday Experience.
We celebrated my wife's birthday at the Andaman Seaview Hotel last November 14. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. When we arrive at the hotel it was really clean and cozy. The staff are very helpful, always smiling and are extremely friendly shout out to (Blessie, Raine, SyDie, Darell). Our room was very clean and spacious plus the view from our balcony was spectacular. We really had a great time because they make sure all of our needs are taken care of. The pool was very inviting and the breakfast buffet is to die for, the array of food served was delicious and all are mouth watering. We also tried the Samunprai Spa and we could't ask for more it was a very pampering and relaxing experience and a must try. The location is perfect its just a walk away from the beach and in front there is a police station so we feel very secured as well. Me and my wife will highly recommend Andaman Seaview Hotel to everyone. We really had a great time because they make sure all of our needs are taken care of. Thank you for your excellent service and warm accomodation we will surely comeback soon.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great pool and across the road from the beach. Some of the power points did not work in the room but most did. Air conditioner stopped working but the hotel staff had someone to fix it straight away.

Great hotel in excellent location
Lovely hotel with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Great location for Karon beach which is less than a minute away from the hotel. Shops and restaurants are within a short walking distance. The only negative I would mention are the steps up to reception which may be a challenge for some.

Great hotel in good location. Little kinks need to be worked out to make it an excellent hotel. Eg Free wifi in restaurant only, no help from porters to carry luggage up the stairs, being charged double for my hotel booking - with a refund in "at least 30 days", no communication re hotel activities. But overall a beyond decent stay.

Beautiful view and beach just a few steps outside of hotel. Breakfast was okay but very overpriced. Friendly daytime staff, but we arrived in the middle of the night and the ones who helped us then were a bit clueless.

During the wet season, this was part of the highlights of our trip. The staff were always very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We started with just 2 nights and ended up extending our stay for the whole time we were in Phuket. We highly recommend it and if you stay there, say high to Michael and Arcky for us!

5 star plus service * Phuket hidden gem
If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Phuket where you will feel like a king or queen,and still have money left over when you go home this is the place for you. A welcome drink and cold towel was provided automatically upon arrival ,complimenatry water bottles offered to you too . Edward and all his staff, especially HoneyGrace, Arky, and Michael , could not have made our stay more enjoyable. They even gave us a late check out of 7pm on the day we were leaving Upon arrival Arky showed us to our room and went through all of its features, including the towels and bag provided for either the pool or beach use The room was perfect and had everything that you could ask for. …..pool and seaview, TV, Minibar, comfortable bed, bathroom amenities, and most importantly fast WIFI and a very efficient air conditioner ! The breakfast each morning had a wonderful variety of hot and cold Asian and western dishes, as well as cereal, an egg bar, salad and fruit section, and for the kid in us all …..icecream . The pool area was very relaxing and the beach a quick 2 minute walk across the road. The restaurants at the corner as you enter the lane are great, and very cheap too so theres no need to walk far to eat. So if youre looking for a place to stay in the south of Phuket, don’t even think, just book the Andaman Seaview…… Edward and his amazing team will give you an experience that you will never forget.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Location was great, 2 minutes walk to the beach. Staff was the hotel's best asset. They did whatever they can to make sure we were happy. Room was big and clean. Can ask for more pillows. 4 complimentary bottled waters per day. Bathroom was a bit dark but very clean. Breakfast was one of the best I've experienced. Lots of choices. Recommend for everyone who wants to stay away from noisy Patong

Great location just near the beach. Staff were so lovely. we didn't leave to go to the airport until 5 pm and they have an aircon room you can sit and relax in. We used the pool and they booked us into the spa for 4 pm to have showers before we left. Breakfast was really good and so many options. Would love to stay again!

Excellent Stay
We were greeted with a smile and were able to get in our room early because we arrived early. They were very accomodating. Michael, our bellboy was very informative and gave us such good attention. He was a shining light every morning as we were going out. The hotel was extremely clean and our room was well looked after. We were very impressed with the whole experience at this hotel. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety. We were served the best breakfast here than any other places we stayed at in Thailand. Our room was nice and big and the pools were very nice. We sat by the pool almost all the time. The restaurant they had at supper was also very good. We ate there a couple of times. Everybody there made our stay very nice. They all were very friendly and very willing to go out of their way to help us. The only downside was that there was no internet included. It said there was but we could never get it. But all in all we would definitely go there again if we go to Phuket. Karon Beach was extremely nice.

The AC in the room went out in the middle of the night. We had to call the front desk and it took them an hour to get me checked in to another room. They did not care to comp me eve a beer for a lost nights' of sleep because the air conditioner broke. Water was pouring through the celling from the AC so I had to put a fowl down to stop the noise. They charge you for internet. I would not recommend this hotel.

cant fault it in any way, found staff food rooms are all exellent the staff could not do enough for you the food was very good indeed and at a good price aircon was fantastic and cooled the room down in no time no noise at all very well looked after building and very cleen where ever you went in the hotel, cant say enough about the place would go back there tomorrow and hope to book again

Our deluxe room was large, clean and comfortable. Large and comfortable bed. Wonderful large bath and plenty of boiling water. No sea view as we we on the 2nd floor and looked over the swimming pool. Staff were professional and polite. We agree with previous reviews in that the hotel is largely used by Russians whose standards of behaviour and dress is different from UK eg those in the room next door to us were extremely loud and noisy. Also, they have a habit of sitting by the pool in the evening with their own food and alcoholic drink while Brits were using the hotel bar. The manager didn't say anything to them so we can only assume the hotel rules allow this. But it spoils the ambience for those of us using the hotels bar service. Bar service is very good and prices not too bad for a hotel, especially in happy hours. They mix a very good piña colada...better than any we had elsewhere on Phuket. On the only day we stayed at the hotel and laid by one of the swimming pools it was spoiled as workmen were coming through all the time (one of the pools was being renovated) and infact were holding discussions etc right beside our sunbed. Not very private! In the end they asked us to move... Maybe they should remove the pool parts out of pool use times, it does close at 8pm after all. Breakfast is good and plentIful.

Great holiday experience
I wouldn't be happier with my hotel choice, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel beautifully decorated and authentic. Little details they take care of make you feel special like they give you ice cold, scented towel for refreshing when you first arrive to check in. The hotel was 3 minutes walking distance from the clean, sandy Karon beach. The breakfast was nice and we had lunch there which was really great thai food. The location of the hotel was very convenient, just 5, 10 min walking distance to shops, tour operators restaurants etc. It was a quiet, peacefull, friendly, relaxing atmosphere, and the decoration of the hotel was very satisfying. Their spa is really nice too. The pool is a little small, but i prefer swimming in the sea which is just steps away. They give you a nice beach bag with towel prepared in your room. There is a safety box in the room free to use. If you are on honeymoon, they decorate your room and give a complimentary cake. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. As for Phuket tips, always bargain when you buy anything, ask 300TBH less than what they offer, and you would get 150TBH discount :). You should talk with many tour operators before you book one, since the price differs by 1000 TBH for the similar tours. Dont let weather reports fool you, itwas showing thunder storms for all week, but for all the island tours we went, the sun was bright. It rains for a short time in Phuket, but nothing major.

The Andaman Seaview in Phuket, Thailand
The Andaman is a pretty hotel although due to time it has some repairs needed in the bathrooms, the staff were very courteous to us at all times. The breakfast was immense. The location was close to all amenities you might require. It simply is not geared to wheelchair assess needs. It should not have been sold as such.

No more Andaman Sea View Hotel!!!
We stayed 4days. On 2nd day, the key was broken. We had to change the room at 10 in the evening.The lady from the hotel forced tio sign the paper that said you change the room because of nice view. In the new room, toilet was broken, but nobody fixed as we said many times. And we had wake up call at 3 in the morning!!!! He said to me "Excuse me, what time do you want waking up call?". It unvelievable!!! Plus it took over 30minutes to checking out!!! I would not stay this hotel never!!

Luckily we only stayed here for 2 nights, we were put in the worse room in the Hotel. We were put on the ground floor with a view of the dirt track at the back of the Hotel, the room smelled very bad of damp. When i complained at reception they said they couldn't move us as they were full and cured the smell with...........an air freshener!
