Family Stay
The resort was great and the staff where fantastic. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment which was very large and had all the required amenities including a fully equipped kitchen. Our kids especially loved the children's activity play centre and the beach. The first couple of days it took as a while to get our bearings walking around the resort as it is so spread out. We only had a couple of annoyances: 1) Hotels.com advertised our breakfast as a full kitchen continental breakfast with no further description. The vast majority of guests at the hotel had a buffet breakfast at JW Cafe. To our disappointment, a Full Kitchen Continental Breakfast actually meant eating at the Siam Deli and being offered only one Beveridge and one of only a handful of menus listed in their menu. It was definitely not a full kitchen! We were not able to upgrade to the buffet breakfast and had to pay the full fee for that option. 2) We paid top dollar for our accommodation. Had we researched better, we could have had the room for close to a third of the price had travelled 2 weeks later in April.

Very clean and tidy rooms. We had a two bedroom unit. We thoroughly enjoyed our eight night stay. The kids loved their time at kids camp. We enjoyed the pools and poolside service. The hotel is a bit away from most places but we still did two full day trips away. We liked the quieter area. There are options to eat out away from the hotel. But the restaurants on site were great. Food prices not too dissimilar to Aussie food prices. We enjoyed the friendly staff Marn, Love, JJ, Nam to name some standouts. Hope to return at some point in the future.

We enjoyed a family holiday here last week. The location is beautiful and the property is well kept. There are plenty of things to do here for kids and adults alike, and plenty of spots to laze the days away if you don't feel like doing anything. The highlight was every single member of staff. Such lovely helpful and genuine people that were so welcoming and friendly to us. We will be back.

Nice staff and decent food. Very good for kids with the designated pool and kids club. My only gripes would be the noise from people walking around above (the Marriott in Khao Lak has the same issue) and the staff not handling PCR documents with appropriate sensitivity.

This was our 3rd time staying at the JW and Marriott Phuket Beach Club. The facilities are amazing and the kids club is fantastic. The service has always been top notch and we look forward to our next stay in Phuket JW

There was 4 of us on this trip staying at the hotel. 3 of us got sick with vomit and diarrhoea. We only ate pretty much the entire time at the hotel. We were able to pretty much identified the food that caused the sickness as I did not eat the same food in the hotel hence I was not sick. Pretty miserable really and we certainly did not expect this for the price we pay. Needless to say, we will not stay at the same hotel chain and I will not book another holiday using your website.

Great kids pool and best kids club on the island, beautiful pools, really relaxing colonial style lobby bar, fantastic Italian restaurant Cucina, great beach massages 500 baht, housekeping amazing, nice beach Thai restaurants out the front (on the sides of the resort). Can't wait to go back.

Spacious rooms (2 bedroom apartments can sleep 6 if the sofa bed is used), beautifully landscaped gardens, quiet location and good facilities except for the dining facilities. Only drawback is the dining facilities which whilst there are a number of options do not provide value for money and lack local taste (too sweet or not spicy enough).

The 2 bedroom appts are called villas by the staff but are actually appts in 3 story blocks. Very well laid out and fully equips for 6 people 2 no bedroom has 2 queen sized beds and own bathroom if you want adult only ask for north pool size of the property as this pool is very quiet. This is not a place to stay if you want lively Thai resort as 30 mins north of the airport $30 taxi ride to Patong. One criticism is the prices of food and drinks sandwich from deli £7.50 large beer £7.50 and since all bills signed for it's easy to accumulate a steep bill! So budg

Amazing Location
We recently stayed here for over a week and loved every minute. The location is amazingly beautiful, the staff are friendly and helpful, and they made our stay the best vacation we have ever had. If you love being close to the beach, swimming in picturesque pools and staying in a room that has all the comforts of home (plus 24 hr. room service), I strongly recommend staying here. There are six onsite restaurants to choose from, however our favorite was the Andamon Grill where we had our Anniversary Dinner. This location has an amazing sunset ocean view, and our server Tan made our evening extremely special, and the food is really delicious as well. Several nights we enjoyed the late night Happy Hour provided at the Blue Bar, and while the Mojito's are incredible and were our favorite drink, they have a variety of others to choose from. Our bartender's Aey and X-Man were so friendly and interactive, and they mix drinks to perfection. I highly recommend stopping by the Blue Bar and having a beverage, ask for Wan, she also makes a great drink but what we really enjoyed was how she made each visit feel like a special occasion and really took the time to speak with us and learn our names. During our stay we also enjoyed, the Spa, where we treated ourselves to a Thai massage and loved the relaxing, calming and professional atmosphere and staff. We made use of the onsite gym and free workout classes, there were a great way to start our days and the instructors were very good.

Wonderful experience in every way
I rarely write reviews but this hotel has been perfect in every way. The staff are friendly -- all of them and very professional. My daughter hurt herself biking and they immediately bandaged her up and also delivered milk and cookies to her later in the day. The beach and environment is natural and gorgeous. The pool is large, the tennis court in great shape, a beautiful gym, and lovely yoga room. This is a perfect place to come with a family - including a great kids club and a kitchen. I highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic upscale hotel - the room was huge and very smart, lovely pools and right by the beach. Service was friendly and efficient. Restaurants on the pricy side (but great food) but here are other local options too which aren't more reasonable (turtle village). Kids loved tree kids club. Can't wait to come back.

Booked a 2-bedroom suite with kitchen & laundry facilities. Very comfortable for family of 4. However food in hotel grounds are pricey for the standard delivered. Generous bottled water supply. Hotel is kind of secluded..... having a car will be nice.

Marriott Mai Khao vacation club delivers!

We had a great and relaxing time with the family at Marriotts Phuket Beach Club. The resort has Excellent facilities for kids and adults- good thai food, swimming pools, kids center, Gym and spa etc. It is close to the airport but however far from town. If someone is looking at just putting your feet up and relaxing for a long weekend in Thailand close to the beach - eating, sleeping, drinking and swimming, this is the place to go to.

One of the best resorts in the world.
We LOVED Marriott Phuket Beach Club. Great for families. Loved the pool and the beach. The service was top notch. Like most 5 star hotels, they go the extra mile. Loved the welcome drink. :-) I gave room cleanliness a 4 instead of a 5 only because I saw some ants and a little lizard in our bathroom. I suppose it's hard to avoid that anywhere in Phuket because you're basically in a rainforest. Also the water had some yellow tint whereas the JW Marriott rooms had clear water. The bathroom could use some re-grouting. Other than those small things, everything else was great.

Lovely 2 Bed ground floor apartment. Fully furnished with micro wave oven, washer/dryer etc. Beautiful grounds and 3 separate pools. Nice beach with local bars, and food and drink at the Turtle Village Only down side was the very expensive food and drink on offer at the on site Marriott hotel. The prices seemed more than at home!

Wow what a hotel!! We had the best time ever at the Marriott. Everything was beautiful, from the rooms to the gardens and the facilities. Highly recommend this hotel - gorgeous place to stay with gorgeous people working.
