My two teenage children and I arrived and it felt like paradise. Airport pick up was smooth, fast and welcoming. Resort was beautiful. 4hrs after dinner my children became violently ill for 24hrs and we didnt leave the room. I don't know whether it was the food (which looked and tasted of a high standard) or possibly a bug picked up in the main pool (couldnt smell any chlorine). We heard of at least 2 other families having the same experience while we were there. This is a lovely resort with staff who try so hard but proper cleanliness and hygeine are not practised in such a hot humid environment, there will be horrible bugs growing under the surface and guests will not have the wonderful experience the staff genuinely want them to have.

I first of all hope that your child is feeling better now and has totally recovered. It is always sad that this happen in holidays and I can totally understand your disappointment.
When travelling often there can be other factors than food such as water, dehydration, viral, humidity, stomach intolerance, or temperature change that can also cause the symptoms you are mentioning.
However we take potential cases of food poisoning very seriously, as hold ourselves to a high Food Management System standard.
Should you wish to get in touch with the hotel directly to discuss this matter further, please kindly feel free to do so.
We would be also able to take note of the dishes you are suspecting for being the cause of those symptoms and send them for a laboratory test as it part of our standards procedures.
As a matter of fact, I have received a few days ago the results of our monthly pool analysis that came back perfectly fine.
Nevertheless, we are taking your comments on boards in regards to hygiene and you can count on us to keep focusing on that particular aspect.
We certainly appreciate your comments and feedback as we continually seek ways to evolve our level of service and guest experiences.
