Good hotel, close to most things.

Pros: Service. Breakfast. Views. Staff. Environment.
Cons: My room had a connecting door which was very thin. Noise from the next room was annoying. Large cigarette ash bins outside door stank.
Location: Jung Ceylon, Bangla Walking street, Beach, all within 10 minutes walk
Stayed for 5 nights with late checkout. All good. Room was adequate with all the good bits and pieces. Minibar, bathroom soaps etc. Room was spotless on each days cleaning. Shame about the access though. Most points of access, lanes, alleyways, soi were plagued with gay bars or massage staff.

Hotel close to beach and all amenities.

Pros: Very well situated
Cons: The decor, service and breakfast
Location: Close to all amenities and nightlife
The hotel is close to the beach and all amenities. It is, however, very dated and in need of a renovation. The staff, in general, find it difficult to understand English and are not very reactive to customer needs.Having said all that, it was still value for money.

Looks good in brochure

Pros: Close proximity to walking street and shopping. Good views from small balcony. Fast lifts.
Cons: Upgrade pool (clean and refurbish tiles and grout), re-furbish room furniture and bedding.
Location: walking distance to restaurants, shops and beach.
Good location, lobby and pool surrounds good but pool very small and needs attention. Staff helpful. Room furniture tired, shower over bath not good. Balcony disappointing, very small and had to ask for outdoor chairs and table. Breakfast cereal and yogurt limited and green tea unavailable.

I ask twice for maintance to repair the leaking toilet. The second time I asked I wrote the room number on a note to make sure there was NOT and language barrier. I'm still waiting... No one ever showed up

HOTEL CENTRAL SHOPS CLOSE BY FOR SHOPPING

Pros: THE POOL
Cons: BATHROOM COULD LOOK CLEANER
Location: CENTRAL FOR SHOPPING
I FELT THE ROOM WAS NOT A SUPERIOR ROOM BUT WE DID HAVE A BALCONY. UNABLE TO HANG UP MOST OF OUR CLOTHES AS THE RAIL WAS JUST ABOVE THE SAFE WHICH WAS ON TOP OF A CUPBOARD. I INFORMED MANAGEMENT. FOOD WAS EXCELLENT IN HOTEL RESTAURANT

Chinese hell

Pros: staff, pool, close to most central things and places
Cons: not having so many Chinese guests and maybe a touch of fresh paint in the rooms and wooden furniture
I liked the hotel fine but I hated the chineses guests and they are plenty there and anywhere else in Phuket these days. nice hotel with good amenities. staff was really friendly and helpful.

Hospitality is non existent

The whole experience was terrible, from the moment we stepped out of the taxi from the airport. The bell boys were occupied standing around laughing with each other and conversing with the taxi driver so we grabbed our bags and walked in. Then we were told room wasn't ready which was fine we were a bit early. So we came back after the time we were told to and then they stated we needed to wait longer due to a the maid staff leaving items so we waited. Then when we returned again we were told they are changing our room and we needed to wait even longer. Mind you there was no I'm sorry nor any sense of hospitality or apology for the 3 to 4 times we had to come back only to be told the room is still not ready. Then we were asked for a deposit which is fine that's normal but when we offered up a credit card, the clerk looked at us with a very irritated face and said why don't u pay with cash and asked a few times for cash. At that point I was very confused and a bit irritated. She then took card gathered other clerks around spoke in Thai and all looked at us like we had done something wrong. It was a terrible experience. The breakfast was sub par the service I just can't get over all and all. The room was ok but I don't see any redeeming quality due to the lack of customer service. Great view from our room

Location: Not far from Bangla Road and Jungceylon Shopping Centre. Shuttle bus to the beach
One of our party arrived with a foot injury, after a minor boating accident, and the receptionist was kind enough to upgrade us to the next level of accommodation. The hotel overlooks Bangla Road, so we thought there would be a bit of noise, but the distance meant the noise wasn't excessive for a Saturday night. Our room was well appointed, but some parts of the hotel are a little tired, and need an upgrade. Being on crutches, some of the ramps provided for disabled access were far too steep, and would not meet current standards. Overall a reasonable standard for the price we paid, and a upgrade was a bonus.

At check in we had issues but they were quick to fix it even if the manager seemed upset to do it
