Nice hotel right off the Interstate

Easy check in. Clean room. Easy access and within walking distance of a restaurant.

Get a top floor room!!!!!

Pillowcases and towels had stains. Shower had no water pressure and the temperature fluctuated. I was in a room with people under me and above, when we first checked in people under us complained about us walking around which I thought was crazy but I soon realized why they called. The floors make so much noise it woke me throughout the night by people just walking above me!! Also only one person working at 8pm when we called for extra sheets and we were told we had to come get them ourselves. Overall disappointing stay and i'll just go somewhere else next time.

I am not sure where to even begin. This is the first time writing a review on a hotel but this experience was so bad I had to share. I booked 6 rooms through Expedia. I received a confirmation email confirming all rooms where 2 Queen/Non-Smoking Rooms. When I arrived the hotel had my rooms as 4 that was right and 1 king (2 women who did not know each other was suppose to sleep together?!?) and 1 Smoking. The hotel was booked up and would not change our room to the correct type (it was 3:30). Not to mention all rooms weren't even ready. We cancelled our smoking room because the smell of smoke was so bad it was like walking into a bar. Two of our older ladies went to their room with the key that was provided and walked in on a naked man asleep on the bed!! The hotel staff did not apologize. We would have cancelled our rooms if the other hotels were not booked. The organization and hospitality of this hotel is BAD!!

Piedmont Best Western

Pros: Clean, friendly and convenient location.
Cons: The room cleaning service was a little inconsistent day to day. I always keep a very neat room so it is very easy for me to tell what was done.
Location: Close to I85, restaurants, fuel and just about anything else within a couple miles.
This is a very clean and conveniently located hotel. There are a couple places to eat lunch and dinner within walking distance.There is a decent fitness room and the staff is very friendly. There is some road noise from the very nearby and busy Interstate 85 but that is to be expected because of it's location. The complimentary breakfast in the lobby was excellent each morning.

Disinterested

Despite reserving a non-smoking room, we were given what was clearly a smoking room upon arrival. On requesting another room we were told there were none available by a disinterested front desk agent. The room was so bad that it was obvious that the housekeeping staff had simply put a no smoking sign in what had traditionally been a smoking room. We won't be back.

In area for Clemson graduation. All other hotels closer were full. Other than the fact I had a room that was not smoke free.Everything else was great. Smoke Oder was terrible.

Overall a ok hotel. Front desk staff very helpful and pleasant. But our room was not vacuumed or bathroom floor swept prior to our check-in and never during our four night stay. Breakfast adequate but not great.

Got in late, had vacancies when the area was packed for a game in town. Was grateful for a room and friendly staff.
