The staff was very professional and welcoming. The hotel itself per rooms could use some upgrading. My room in particular had a hole in the wall that was patched and dents in the shower.

On the strip in Pigeon Forge, good location

Location was the only good thing. Air conditioning wasn't working well in our room.....VERY HOT. They did give us a box fan and free breakfast one morning......I guess it's the thought that counts. To top it off, when we got home and started unpacking a roach was in our luggage......needless to say, we are never ever staying at this place again....NEVER!

Convenient to restaurants and shopping.

Pros: Staff, comfortable room and location.
Location: convenient to restaurants and attractions.
Access to restaurant and a short drive to Dollywood. Older hotel seems to be kept up nice. Has a restaurant in it and offers a limited menu. Staff was very friendly.

We booked 3 nights with breakfast included. Received 1 breakfast voucher per person per night. Had breakfast buffet day one but the other 2 days we were allowed to choose only 1 item off the menu which wasn't the same as eating unlimited at buffet.

The hotel was not bad and was in an excellent location. The key cards constantly had to be redone which was annoying. And they messed up our billing and overcharged our cards but fixed it in the end at checkout. Kinda inconvenient because we couldn't use our cards elsewhere due to the over-charges.

Great Place

My family and I needed an affordable hotel quickly, and Holiday Inn went above and beyond what we were expecting. The hotel was clean, the staff was so friendly, the location was convenient, and the rooms were very comfortable. All of this in one hotel for a reasonable price is almost unheard of, but we did not spend very much money at all.

Hotel was close to everything in Pigeon Forge

Pros: The staff at the front desk were very friendly and did everything they could to improve our stay.
Cons: Better communication between all staff. Possibly management stepping in to try and help.
Room and bathroom were dirty. When we told staff at the front desk before we left they said it would be taken care of before we returned. Upon are return nothing had been taken care of. We tried to call down to the front desk and found out that our phone didn't even work. My husband walked down and soon a housekeeper came,took the coffee maker away to clean it and was told the phone was not working. When he returned with it he asked if I would like the bathroom cleaned I told him yes and told him again that the phone did not work . He never returned to take care of the dirty bathroom or the broken phone. We will not be staying here again.
