Construction going on, sheetrock dust, gap in room door, did not feel safe. The worst part - the bed was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor.

Great overnight stay

Posted Apr 2, 2018
Pros: comfort of the beds. cleanliness.
Cons: update the bathrooms and showers.
Location: walking distance to markets, food, go-carts, arcades and more.
My husband surprised myself and his son (8 yrs old) on a 2 day trip to Gatlinburg, TN. Our one night stay in Pigeon Forge was great. Even though the hotel was currently undergoing some renovation and construction, the rooms were very comfortable and smelled clean. The mattresses were brand new and slept wonderfully. I would trade my Temperpedic in for one of them. The Staff was very friendly and the hotel was right in the middle of the strip which made it convenient to all the attractions. They have a indoor pool as well which my husband and stepson took advantage on. Very nice continental breakfast. I have no doubt when we go back next year and the construction is finished and the restaurant is open it will be even a better experience.

Not a nice goal hotel

Posted Apr 1, 2018
Booked this on Expedia for a last minute trip as it was the last hotel that had an indoor pool and room service, only to arrive to discover the pool was open but under construction and no room service due to "renovations". The bed was ridiculously too high, kids had to use a chair to get in bed and they looked like a college dorm room with mattress on exposed cheap box spring. At least The bed was brand new. No privacy curtains, just sheers. The shower had nice pressure but I had to drain and fill tub about 3 times to get Bath for kids that didn't have black stuff in the bath water. The control knob for bath and shower felt like it was about to fall off and dialing in temperature was more art than science. Last straw, there was a ridiculous line for the "included" breakfast out into the lobby. We left, never to return. The only positive thing I can say is that the staff are all friendly.

Nice hotel but room comfort could be better

Posted Jan 2, 2018
Pros: Location, breakfast, pool, parking.
Cons: Air conditioning/Heating equipment and quality of the bed.
Location: Great location. Very close to Gatlinburg. A lot of attractions around.
Employees were very nice and polite. Hotel infrastructure and location was great. The big downside was in one of the most important parts: room comfort. Air conditioning/Heater was really noisy, trembling all the time and mattresses were too soft, not comfortable, in a very small bed for a couple.
