The motel is at a good location. The roo. Was fresh and clean. The only problem we had was when we first went to check in there was a couple of teenagers behind the desk that was not customer friendly. Our check in time was 3pm and we stopped by the see if room was ready at 1 because our son was checked it at super 8 by 1230 and his check in time was 4. Our daughter was checked in by 1 at what I would call a 5 star hotel. But nope ours was not ready. I am just glad they didn't leave it up to the teenagers to clean the room.

Rod run stay

check in was a breeze, room was a little smaller than what we were used to, but it was super clean. Fresh towels at your door every morning, and breakfast coupons to use at there restaurant.

Comfy beds and good location

The beds are very comfy and staff are great . only bad thing i have is the ac didn't work well and the free pancakes they where nasty. Big yes but very nasty. Overral we had a good stay . i would suggest that they maybe do something with the pancake house and maybe do something so they are not so bad .

Hotel close to parkway

The motel management was on the phone with the couple that checked in before us they wanted a complete refund because there was hair all in the bed! That creeped me out! But our sheets and pillows looked clean. I was aggravated because the room I booked was a queen bed! When we checked in they were out of the queen and gave us two double beds! The lighting was not very good in the room it was very dim. The shower was awful! It wasn't very clean and it kept going from hot to cold constantly! The parking was horrible!

Overbooks and then doesn't refund your money

We booked at the Wild Bear hotel and they called us after 7 pm when we were minutes away to check in to tell us they didn't have room for us and that they would refund us for our first night stay and recommended another hotel for our first night. Upon checking in on our second day they said we would be reimbursed between 3-5 business days and 3 weeks later have still received no refund. Upon contacting the hotel and asking for a receipt for reimbursement they sent us a $0 bill for the fact that we had no extra charges on our room for the one night and refused to send us anything else. Disappointing in an American hotel.

Anniversary stay

Need more pillows, there were only 3 small sq pillows on the bed, everything else was great! Free pancake breakfast was nice!

The room was only cleaned one day ( they said they were short staffed) we were there 4nights. The AC was very noisy and not very cool at all. The ice machine didn't work when we needed ice. Need I say more. Oh the pancake house was awesome good food and service. That was the only good thing.
