Great cottage on the lake!
This cottage is in a great location on the lake near Caseville! Loved the location. We enjoyed the fire pit outside and the outdoor table to eat. It's an older cottage and the one bathroom and tub (really) need to be updated, but the beds were comfortable.

Great view and beautiful beach
We had a great short little stay. While i agree with the other reviews that it was a little dirty on the inside, it was overall a great stay. We walked into a pile of swept up dirt and dust that was obviously forgotten about while cleaning. The rooms were clean and bathroom was clean. The beds are definitely soft. They have definitely updated most of the house. The bathroom could use an update. The view and the beach were amazing! We spent our full day on the beach and enjoyed every minute.

Perfect Family Get-a-Way
The view of Saginaw Bay is amazing from this property! Sunsets gorgeous from the nice deck. Water stays shallow for quite a distance from the 50' private beach, which was ideal for our 5 yr old grandchild. Cottage was cute and cozy for our family of 6 adults and 1 child. We enjoyed our stay and are already discussing a return next year. (My oldest son passed when he was a teenager and his birthday is Aug. 2. We plan a mini-vacation each year to "celebrate" him and this has been our favorite spot so far. Close to Caseville for groceries, ice cream, and pharmacy. Thanks to the owner.

VERY DIRTY - BOOK HERE IF YOU ENJOY FILTH
We understand and expected some wear & tear, bugs, MINIMAL dirt, etc that comes with going up north, but that was not the case. Our first initial reaction to the property was not a good one. The outside of the house looks as though it has been vacant for years and not taken care of. Upon walking in there was a very stale/odd smell in which we wished we had brought candles. The house is "updated" with newer floors and countertops, but that is about it. There were dead bugs in the fridge/freezer which was unsettling. The bathroom tub looked as if it had never been cleaned or scrubbed in its lifetime. There was a layer of dirt on the bathroom windowsill along with pieces of hair. We had to scrub/wipe down the table and chairs on the deck. They were that dirty. All of the light fixtures in the house had hundreds of dead bugs in them, a simple thing that can be addressed. We did expect to have some sort of cleaning supplies such as dish soap, but no. We had about 10 drops of dish soap. Nowhere did it say to bring your own dish soap. Part of check out is to take the trash out. There are 3 bins on the porch. We grabbed our trash and opened the first bin....filled with garbage. Open the 2nd bin....filled with garbage. Even if the previous group forgot, shouldn't this be checked by the owner before another group arrives? The amount of filth in this house was inexcusable. Quite obvious the host pockets the cleaning fee. Cobwebs and dead bugs everywhere. Beware before booking.

Space limited comments - could not provide the positive comments - had many
I rate this location 3 stars. Two factors come into play for our group, value and senior considerations,The bathroom is small. But it did fit a toilet chair. The rooms are small. The beds are not queen, but full size. AND are VERY soft-think sleeping in a hammock such that you roll into your partner, not relaxing The chairs surrounding the large table in the main room could use padding. We used the cushions from the sun room to pad many of the chairs. Nothing that I would expect for the price we paid. This is not a location for seniors who may have physical limitations. The parking area leads up to a substantial slope, worse in the rain. No problem for me, but for the walker, yes and daughter with cane yes. The very nice deck is negated by the substantial decline in the lawn, such that there’s a foot drop before the deck surface, no problem for me,impossible for a walker and non-trivial for my daughter with a cane. Easily remedied with a platform to cross, but not provided. I underlooked the steps down to the beach. Twenty down and (twenty up).. No trouble for me, negates walker. Daughter traversed ONCE enjoyed beach, but declined the remainder of stay. You pay a lot for the view, nice as it is, and the beach. Sand Point seems to be a high rent district. Its quite a populated subdivision. This was not my first choice, and while there I visited the first choice.better accommodation, Queen beds,,same view, same beach, just a little farther north and at 60% of the price
