"My husband and I were constantly saying that this was one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff were very friendly and extremely welcoming. The room was exceptionally clean. The only issue I had was that the breakfast was not free as it was at the other hotels we stayed at. I give them credit, they let us know ahead of time that we had to pay for our breakfast. We chose to stay there even when we knew that the breakfast was not included in the price of our room. We just went to McDonald’s and got our breakfast, so it was not a big issue. Although I still wish the breakfast was included but the coffee was free😃. I will still give them 5 stars ⭐️ because of all the other great features! I highly recommend The Hawthorne to anyone looking for an exceptional hotel to stay at!!!"

"The room at Suburban Studios was very clean and seemed fairly recently painted. It had a full size fridge, stovetop, microwave, and sink in the kitchen area. The exterior of the building was under renovation at the time. Despite the clean room, I would not stay here again. I didn’t feel safe. There was one arrest, ambulance and fire truck at 3 am, loud banging on my door telling me I need to move my car for the painters - wasn’t my car that needed to be moved, strangers outside of my door at 1 am one night, the smell of weed one day, people hanging outside at 11 pm, etc."
