Great place to stay!Posted Aug 15, 2015 on Hotels
Staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel was just wrapping up a renovation and the rooms were big and comfortable. The pool was perfect for the kids. There was even a cool little grill area, but we only stayed the one night so we didn't use that amenity. There was not a lot in the surrounding area, but the staff had recommendations and menus for the local restaurants at the front desk. The hotel also had an awesome free breakfast in the morning! Will stay again!!

Caters to ATVsPosted Jul 20, 2015 on Hotels
This was a lovely hotel. The majority of its staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The included breakfast was great and my kid loved the little pool. I would have given it 5 of 5 except... Maybe I was just unlucky in my weekend, but get the feeling that the hotel caters to ATVers on a regular basis. They and their machines are loud, obnoxious, and dirty. Even though there are signs posted not to bring the ATVs to the hotel it is not enforced and the ATVs drive past hotel rooms at ALL hours. If you are an ATVer, this is your paridise. If you are a traveling family looking for somewhere restful, move on down the road.

Great stay!Posted Mar 30, 2015 on Hotels
It was a perfect stopping place for our trip from Michigan to Florida. Hotel is renovating but it didn't get in the way of comfort and service. Room was great and breakfast was awesome, one of the best selections I have ever seen. Hotels.com needs to update pictures. The rooms are really nice!

The lady working the desk was very nice and helpful. The hotel was nice but you had to drive 7 miles to get something to eat.

Pioneer HotelPosted Feb 23, 2015 on Hotels
We have stayed at this hotel before and after a full day of traveling in ice and snow through the mountains, it was nice to have a familiar place to stay. The hotel is currently undergoing some exterior renovations which is a nice thing to see - means they are interested in staying "current". Nice breakfast spread in the morning. Pillows on the bed were the most comfortable pillows I have ever slept on. Rooms are big. Definitely recommend this hotel for snow birds traveling south.

Heaters need updated to digital.Posted Jan 30, 2015
Everything about this hotel was excellent except for the in room heating system. You had to guess where to put the knob. We put it at the halfway point between hot & cold. Woke up at 4 am in a puddle of sweat. Ended up turning it completely off and was fine the rest of the night.
