"Our room was next to a water noisy pump which kept us up late and woke us up multiple times in the night. The staff were unwilling to offer a late check out for those taking part in the Etape Caledonia which is the reason why we were there. Considering it's one of the biggest events in Pitlochery's calendar, we felt they were being inconsiderate and could have been more supportive to guests. The car park at the rear is very small. Plenty of guests were struggling to find parking. The rest of the hotel and facilities were perfectly adequate."

"We had such a lovely stay at Birchwood Pitlochry and felt welcome from the very first moment. The hosts Dean and Paul were incredibly attentive, fun to chat with, and really went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The house is beautiful, super clean, and full of cozy touches and lovely decorations. You can really see the attention to detail, both inside and in the beautiful garden surroundings. Our room was warm, comfy, and perfect for relaxing. We also really enjoyed the lovely bar/lounge area. The food was also amazing — great breakfasts and suppers, delicious drinks, and snacks always available. We were very well looked after the entire stay. If you’re looking for a cozy Scottish stay in a lovely town, we’d absolutely recommend this place and would happily come back again. Thanks again Dean and Paul!"

"Plenty of parking. Nice to have pool and spa facilities. Staff all very helpful at reception and in the restaurant. Food excellent both dinner and breakfast. Evening entertainment was great too involving all those who were there enjoying it."

"Clean tidy rooms in the town centre , has aspa and bar , very good breakfast with good choice ,helpful staff, no evening meals served . Large airy room with shower ensuite. Would book again. One gripe was the room has no coat hooks or shelves only small cupboard with a few hangers so most items like coats etc laid on the floor , also no place to hang your towels after your shower, minor thing but important if you have wet coats etc."

"A lovely hotel set in beautiful and peaceful surroundings, offering a great opportunity to relax. Our room was great, offered lots of amenities and had a wonderful view across the loch. The service was first class throughout the hotel with extremely attentive, friendly and supportive staff. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable weekend away from the hustle and bustle of life."

"Stayed for one night, reception welcome was excellent, friendly staff team throughout our stay, breakfast staff excellent service, only to note tables were so close together it’s a maze to get to the buffet, could do with more spacing between tables, breakfast food choice and quality is very good, room was wonderful, very clean and decorated to a high standard, amenities very good, would be a nice addition to add biscuits to the tea/coffee tray in the room, overall a lovely place to stay and will return again."
