Breakfast was disappointing

Pros: The bed was comfortable and I liked the free wifi in the room. The bathroom was very clean so all in all the room was comfortable
Cons: Whoever cooks breakfast should wear a hair net Also i recommend cooking the eggs in several batches so they don't dry out
Location: We were there to spend the week with our daughter and new grandson so we did not do much sightseeing
We were very disappointed in the breakfast that was offered. The second day of our stay, my husband took some sausages and when he walked away he saw a long hair on one of the sausages. Suffice to say we did not eat breakfast at the hotel for the rest of the week.. Also, because the eggs are made early and left in a slow cooker they were very dry. That was extremely disappointed because the breakfast was included with the room but we ended up having to buy our breakfast for the rest of the week. Also, when we removed the "Do not disturb" sign to allow for room cleaning, the carpet was not vacuumed and we had hung our towels as indicated so they wouldn't be changed and we were given clean towels anyway which was not required.

Nice for the price

We just arrived, no issue so far. Checking was fast, will check out tomorrow, price is good specially they have breakfast.

Poor hotel experience

Hotel was renovating rooms in the morning. Extremely loud, loud enough to wake you up and make it so you can't get back to sleep. All we were told was "the work had to be done" and that it started at 9. Were told it says there's renovations going on on their website which does no good to people who book off Expedia. They first offered us a $25 discount for the night then said there was actually nothing they could do because we booked and paid through Expedia. Very poor customer service. Breakfast was also very poor quality as well.

Room in a busy bar.

Check in as it close to an event. Every female desk clerk was efficient, easy to talk to, and very efficient.The AC switch was broken room, freezing. next to a room Reno. I called I asked. I am ill and I did not sleep. Leaving my mothers room after she went to sleep, not feeling comfortable to many men checking in all carrying beer! Knowing she finally could sleep I went to my room. My key demagnetized, this happens. Having to wait 30 minutes on a broken foot on a cold marble floor. While the beer store closed and there was another line of people with 12-48 beers a person!!!! I secretly told him my room number as I do not like a group of men knowing my room number in a crowd. He said here is your new card for room and blurted it loudly! I stayed up till 6 am listening to partying men playing loud clock radios. Wow at 8 AM every morning the room Reno next store began. Dry wall everywhere and thrown behind Hotel with other Reno garbage?? Wow why would he do that to me. He knew I did not he disrespected me. The cigarette smoke in my room was intolerable. It was a non smoking room. I had 4 hrs rest in 4 nights, lowering my immune system. The lady at the breakfast bar was Pancakes hard as rocks only apples not 1 banana. Everything microwaved. A toaster that barely works, the dirt on the bed skirt and stains on pillow cases are plain sad. I feel ripped off, I am sad, my 2 grandkids saw me 2 X as sleep deprivation turned this into a jail As I couldn’t drive. SAD HELP

I apologize for your negative experience while you were staying with us. Although we cannot control what guests bring into their rooms we can certainly help with noise complaints. We would have gladly moved you to a different room in a different location of the hotel to further avoid these disruptions. Our renovations will be finished shortly.

Convenient to Port Coquitlam

The lobby was clean. Check in quick and easy. Room seemed clean but we were a bit put off upon entering the bathroom as the toilet had not been flushed. Kind of makes you wonder about the cleanliness of the bathroom...

The bed was comfy, enjoyed the stay , had to leave early my son wasn't well but a nice little get away thanks

Great place to stay !

Good rooms, comfortable beds, reasonably priced, in a hotel that has easy access to major roads. Was pleasantly surprised to see the breakfast included a wide variety of hot & cold options in a nice dining area.

Gun Shots heard the whole night

If you can stay anywhere else, do it. We were up the whole night because of gun shots behind the hotel. When we told the front desk staff, two older women, they treated it like a joke and kept talking about investigating the mysterious sounds, as if we had made it up. One of them finally admitted that it could be coming from the farmland behind the hotel, as the farmers use it to deter coyotes. We understood that there is nothing they can do about it, but a little bit of decency and compassion would have been appreciated, versus being mocked. I wish we had kept our room on the front of the hotel, but instead we accepted an "upgrade" to a room with a, "mountain view," and gun shot noises which I'm sure the hotel must have been previously aware of. The bathroom was also not cleaned properly. There was hair and what appeared to be mucus all over the shower. What an awful experience.

My sincere apologies for the way this situation was handled. As the back of the hotel does face farmlands the farmers do use equipment once in a while that is meant to scare away birds and animals. Generally this noise is only heard during the day and doesn't keep our guests awake. Perhaps this is why our staff were not too sure about the cause. Either way, they should have been more understanding with regards to your inquiry. We will use this review as a learning tool for better service. Thank you for your comments.

Nice Rooms, Bad Breakfast.

Pros: good location, nice rooms
Cons: breakfast was a disaster.
Location: we were at Pitt Meadows Airport racing vehicles with Ford of Canada.
Rooms were nice, staff were excellent, Food was sub-standard. Fix the breakfast and I will stay again.
