Hotel is very nice and super convenient to Pitt. When we checked in I was hit with a $25 parking fee which was a surprise. Pretty disappointed and when I questioned the charge the receptionist was not apologetic at all. Room was fairly small but well laid out and very comfortable. I’d stay again

Comfortable room, albeit a little dark, in a convenient location for Forbes, U Pitt, and transport links to downtown. The hotel is also near a few hospitals. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and while that would brighten anyone’s day, it is especially important for anyone who might be visiting because of a medical crisis. You can be sure of a friendly welcome here.

We chose this hotel because it is not far from University of Pittsburgh, and hoped to use their shuttle in inclement weather. When we arrived, there was a sign posted indicating that the shuttle was canceled all weekend. Some other minor details detracted from the overall impression of the hotel: modest lobby, elevator doors appear damaged, elevator smelled of cigarettes (maybe someone just previously in the elevator?). The room itself was fine.

The room's bedding was minimal, offering just a thin, stained duvet with a hole in it, and no top sheets. It felt like comfort and cleanliness weren't priorities. The noise level was another major issue. The walls were so thin, it seemed like you could hear everything from the rooms next door and the hallway, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. Overall, the experience left a lot to be desired, and it felt like the hotel wasn't well-maintained.

Ive stayed here several times the past 4 years with no complaints until this last stay. My suggestion to management is to stress to people with children that a hotel is not a playground. No running, playing ball in hallways or repeated slamming of doors. Everyone is staying at a hotel for different reasons and have different schedules and sleep patterns. Let’s be respectful to each other and teach children the same.

Shower was broke. When we told the girl at the front desk, she took our number and said the manager would call. We never got a call. My husband was told by a worker that he couldn't fill up both cups in his hand with coffee because it was a full house and he couldn't be doing that. The one was a water cup and he didn't even intend on putting coffee in it. And we had to pay $25 for parking for a few hour stay. Definitely will not be coming back.

The property was nicely kept. I was pleased with the room, however it felt a little cramped. There was not much space between the bed and the desk and dresser on the other side. They were doing some work on the property during the day which I am sure necessary, but the contractors tools and equipment were all over the lobby making it feel messy.

The front desk staff and the breakfast staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was run down a bit. Carpwt squares were looses, some stains on the bathroom door, no hook to hang towels in bathroom, and the room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The pillows smelled like stale smoke when you fluffed them. We asked for a room refresh before returning midday for showers and when we returned, it wasn't done. Overall, I would not return.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The parking was close to the main entrance. The staff was very friendly and helpful!
