2 day trip to Pittsburgh, Pa.

Posted Aug 27, 2015
Pros: The beds were extremely comfortable, and the room had a sitting area with two TV's. Loved the shower.
Cons: The breakfast was good but not sure about the extend of the menu for lunch and dinner.
Location: Within walking distance to 5th avenue and the T, which was a great way to get around. Don't miss the Heinz museum, strip district, Aviary, river tour
Hotel was great, clean but not too close to downtown Pitts, but the shuttle was fantastic and we saw so much in two days without taking our car out of the parking lot. Price for parking was the cheapest of all the hotels looked at and this hotel was wonderful- all in all it made our experience in Pittsburgh a truly memorable one. Will go back.

Excellent location in Pittsburg

Posted Jul 25, 2015
Right next to Consol Center and 5 min walk to Duquesne University. Very comfortable and helpful staff. Food was good too. One thing though, the internet doesn't work well with tablet's to connect, i.e. Kindle Fire or iPad, this is from the front desk. Phones connected, just not tablets.

Fantastic hotel for Pittsburgh Penguins games

Posted May 27, 2015
Pros: It's very well positioned for Pittsburgh Penguins games.
Cons: The shuttle bus could be bookable
Location: Within walking distance of Consol Energy Center for Penguins home games, and the Blue Line Grille for catching away games
We stayed for 10 nights to take in a few games and see the sights of Pittsburgh. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, the hotel is very nice and kept clean, the room was big and had everything we needed.

Nice hotel

Pretty nice overall hotel. No problems. The shower was a little musty at the corners of the floor and walls. We stayed here to go to a Pirates game, it's a 1.5 mile walk which wasn't bad but a little further than I would've liked to had to walk on a warm summer day. Would be perfect for Penguins game.

Close to Downtown

Posted May 21, 2015
Pros: Big, new, clean, conveniently located.
Cons: The food at the restaurant was not great. It closes at 1 for lunch.
Location: 10 min walk from the middle of downtown. Unfortunately, I didn't do any sightseeing.
I was traveling for work, and stayed close to the office. Overall the hotel is pleasant - nice looking pool, the suite was pretty big (for 1, anyway) and clean - it even includes a Keurig, microwave, and fridge. It's a short walk to downtown, and a $35 Uber ride from the airport. I was charged for parking for some reason - actually my colleague was charged for my parking... But the hotel quickly cancelled the charge. $14 a day for parking seems steep when there is a parking lot across the street that charges $6/day.
