Comfortable and quiet

Pros: Very friendly staff and a comfortable, quiet room.
Cons: A cleaning product in the lobby had an overpowering odor, but went away later.
Location: Easy to get to.
We needed a place to stay for the Christmas holidays near extended family. The Monroeville location worked well for us.

Very disappointed.

Pros: The suite was spacious! Actually huge.
Cons: They need better cleaning around edges and night tables. They should post above thermostat, FOR HEATING, CHOOSE AUTO, NOT HEAT.
Location: Good location, but hard to find. It's behind a Sheetz gas station, and my Garmin GPS takes you to the Sheetz, not the Courtyard.
Arrived late 10:45 p.m. exhausted [after driving 5 1/2 hours on highways with freezing rain and ice], to enter a cold room with a black rug that had NOT been vacuumed well especially around the night table--fingernails and threads were not mine. Exhausted, I checked the bed for issues. No issues there, so I set the thermostat for HEAT 73 and went to bed with my fleece hoodie on. Got up freezing with the unit spewing cold air! Dalled the des, and desk agent said, Set thermostat to AUTO 73, which finally did work. Did NOT get a good night's rest. Breakfast was not included [which I knew when I booked]. Nothing was done for me; nothing was suggested for me as recompence for having had a disappointing stay, like they could have included breakfast or something. There also wasn't any box to put my written complaint in--I had to hand it in to the desk clerk [will anyone else ever see it?]--so that's why I'm writing here. The stay--for what one pays at a Courtyard--was disappointing at best. I could have stayed several nights at a Days Inn and probably had fewer issues. They should POST above the thermostat, SET HEAT ON AUTO, not HEAT.

Rock hard beds, overpriced food, thin walls, and everything priced as extra.

Beautiful Hotel

Pros: Everything!
Location: There's a mall, movie theater, lots of places to eat and the convention center all very close. In 15 minutes, we were in downtown Pittsburgh.
Check in was prompt, friendly and efficient. The room was gorgeous, quiet and clean. We loved everything about our stay. There was a mall and lots of places to eat within a mile or 2.

Very good for the price

Pros: Room was very spacious , clean and well appointed.
Cons: Asked desk for restaurant recommendations and got nothing. Don't all hotels have a one page sheet of good area restaurants?

Very good place to stay on the road. By the way Expedia is very annoying when asking for more info, I don't work for you and don't get paid for these reviews!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Easy booking

Booked it last minute The room looked clean but when I check the refrigerator it had not been cleaned or emptied from previous guest, found a half empty soda bottle. The bath tub was clogging my poor hubby had to clean it himself as he was already in the tub. it was the hairs which was making it clog disgusting... May be it's just our bad luck we got that room. The lobby and all looked clean. I was surprised to know no free breakfast should have checked it before booking my bad
