Great business trip

Fast, friendly check in process. Very good follow up by maid service to ensure everything was in order. All employees were extremely professional and friendly. I will return every 8-9 weeks.

10 minute drive away from downtown Pittsburgh

Pros: Location was good, right between the airport & downtown Pittsburgh
Cons: The sound of the elevator going up/down could be heard in the room. In the middle of the night it could be distracting. Thankfully, I had earplugs.
Quiet hotel that's a little bit away from the downtown area, since we had rented a car it was a good option for us. The first room we got didn't have heat, so we were able to swap rooms. Room was clean, no complaints.

Went for an overnight trip in Pittsburgh. The staff were very helpful and the services and facilties met my needs.

Disappointing room

Pros: Hot water in the shower
Cons: Dirty, uncomfortable, AC didn't work
Location: Not far from Pittsburgh
The hotel was under construction, but we were in an updated room. I know it was an updated room, because we saw through busted door next door to ours what the old-style rooms looked like. Our room was dirty! There was a pizza box, a pop bottle and some other trash and receipts. There was dirt on the floor. Spots on the "new" bed spreads. The beds were so hard and stiff that when you sat on the edge, the whole mattress flipped up! The room just felt really dirty and uncomfortable. We couldn't get the air conditioner to work properly. Even with the temperature turned down to 60 degrees, it was stifiling. The staff, while nice, said there wasn't anything they could do to help me because I had pre-paid for the room through expedia. Very disappointed in this Clarion.

Decent hotel

Cons: The cleanliness of the rooms and the price of the breakfast.
Overall is was a decent hotel to stay at for the price and location. When I got home I had (itchy) bumps similar to potentially bed bugs all over my back due to me sleeping in a different bed than my friend I found that very weird. I also found $ 14.00 per person for breakfast at the hotel to be absolutely ridiculous. Otherwise I mean the hotel stay was ok, not much of a variety of food at the hotel restaurant/bar. Would I say to go to that hotel exactly when staying in or near Pittsburgh... NO, but hey you live and you learn.

Friendly staff. Nice place to stay overall. HVAC did have some issues however it was 10degrees outside.

Besides the parking lot being horrendous everything else about the hotel was great

Pros: the kindness of the man driving the shuttle to and from the airport and to downtown
Cons: didn't have microwave in the room
you're asking too much time (the surveyor) you're asking too much time.
