The hotel was under construction, but we were in an updated room. I know it was an updated room, because we saw through busted door next door to ours what the old-style rooms looked like. Our room was dirty! There was a pizza box, a pop bottle and some other trash and receipts. There was dirt on the floor. Spots on the "new" bed spreads. The beds were so hard and stiff that when you sat on the edge, the whole mattress flipped up! The room just felt really dirty and uncomfortable. We couldn't get the air conditioner to work properly. Even with the temperature turned down to 60 degrees, it was stifiling. The staff, while nice, said there wasn't anything they could do to help me because I had pre-paid for the room through expedia. Very disappointed in this Clarion.

I did want to make mention that we have not been a Clarion hotel in over two years, since our renovation and conversion to Crowne Plaza. I hope you consider us for any future stay you may have to see the many improvements and updates we have made.
