Good location outside of PittsburgPosted Nov 21, 2015
We enjoyed comfortable room and continental breakfast. We stayed 6 nights and had a good sleep each night. It was a good location outside of Pittsburgh.

disappointing to say the least.Posted Nov 12, 2015
Pros: THE DAY WE WERE LEAVING. WE HAD TO STAY CAUSE THEY WOULDNT GIVE ANY REFUND.
Cons: Please update your pictures. let the customers know that when checking in late you will have to check in and shout through the glass IN THE DARK.
Location: We tried to stay out as late as possible because of the misleading information about the neighborhood. Its a rest stop motel.
When we checked in we had to stand outside in the cold like we were animals. I had two rooms with 2 adults and 2 children in each with only three beds. I asked everyday for 4 towels for the two adults and 2 children in each room and every day we had to ask for additional because they only placed 2 towels and 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths in each room. Hotel blaming travel agent travel agent blaming hotel and I had to pay additional money to get a roll away bed because they were booked up. The pictures are very misleading. SHAME ON YOU DAYS INN.

I would rather sleep in my car.Posted Nov 11, 2015
Paid for 2 nights for 2 bed handicap room when booked. We get there and they don't have a handicap 2 bed room only 1 bed handicap rooms at this Days Inn. My 44 yo brother doesn't want to share a bed with his older 400lb handicap brother. I don't blame him. I don't want to share either. They put us on the top floor in the furthest most room from the elevator. We end up having to pay full non pre-booked price for a second handicap room for me. We paid $380.00 for 2 nights for 2 people for this barely 1 star (joke) hotel. The king bed was so hard I couldn't sleep on it and paid another $50 for an air mattress for the second night.

Very Ordinary HotelPosted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: Staff Courteous
Cons: Can make it more family friendly by avoiding drinking and smoking on the corridors.
Location: Conveniently located on the outskirts of Pittsburgh downtown.
I booked this hotel for a one night stay with my family. I wouldn't recommend this for families, as i found there we lot of smoking and drinking happening on the corridors. Although the staff were courteous, hotel room was okay and the breakfast was decent, the overall stay experience isn't a good one for families. More for bachelors.

Short drive to Heinze StadiumPosted Sep 21, 2015
Pros: Proximity to I376 and short drive to Heinz Field. We usually stay in Greensburg, a bit longer drive. We di
Cons: Add a hot breakfast. Add more cots for temporary use.
Location: The restaurant next door, the Gateway Grill, was excellent. We ate two meals there.
It was more like a motel than a hotel. Outside entrances to the rooms. Struggle for the A/C to keep the room cool. We may have lost a pillow that we brought with us, no word from the staff as to whether they found the pillow in lost and found and are able to return it. Chosen for its proximity to Heinz Field, and free breakfast, I was disappointed that it was a cold breakfast with no hot items. Will choose a different hotel for my next trip to the 'Burgh. I also asked about a cot when making the reservation, to find out that a previous customer had taken up to four cots for use, leaving none available. One of my party had to sleep on the floor. Luckily, he is only 7 and we had a couple of quilts for him to use.

Served its purpose. If you are looking for luxury don't stay here. But if you need a place to stay while taking care of business, then it's perfect. Has nesasary amenities, ie fridge & microwave. Low cost enabled me to afford more lavish dinners & shopping.
