Parking is very expensive and inconvenient. Very cramped quarters. No microwave and dinky coffee pot didn’t work. Pulled out the couch bed and found dirty towels underneath. It took the front desk 10 minutes after keeping me on hold to send up linens. Stains in carpets throughout the hotel. Very stuffy with not so nice smell and terrible views.

The property is in a wonderful location especially if you are going to an event or game at PPG paints. I wish we had known the parking was valet only so we could've parked somewhere cheaper nearby. The lobby was beautiful and clean, and the front desk staff were generally super nice. The rooms are pretty worn down and definitely could use some updates and cleaning. My main complaint was the elevator situation. They have 4 elevators and only 1 was operational for the duration of our stay. With so many sports teams staying here there was a constant wait for the elevator. We didn't go to the restaurant but it seemed very nice. We enjoyed the pool but it was quite old and the ceiling kept dripping on our heads. It wasn't horrible but there's better options in the area for sure.

the look, the atmosphere was nice. but there were issues with the elevators the whole time we were there. the couch in our original room was a known issue, and still we were placed in that room, and then had to be switched, to a room with a huge stain on the wall outside the room. views from the 4th floor were terrible, but we weren't there for that and going up anymore floors would have been even more of an issue with the elevators I'm sure

This was a perfectly fine place to stay, but a bit expensive for what it is. The property is a bit run down, but the rooms are clean. There isn’t much to do within walking distance of the building, so plan on driving if you want to get anywhere interesting. The valet service is nice, but plan on shelling out almost $40 a night if you want to park on-site.

The room is average. I have stayed in nicer accommodations for less. The bathroom is on the smaller side. However it does come with a walk in closet for extended stays. Its only an 8 minute walk to the PPG Arena.

As previously rated, the washroom door was broken, wouldn't close properly and noisy. Only 2 bottles of water for 3 guests booked. The pool was not opened as stated time. The parking for guest had no discount. The window blinds cannot be closed nor the curtains.

We came to watch a hockey game, so the location of the property was very convenient. When we visit Pittsburgh, we also like to visit the northside and the hotel is literally across the street from the steel Plaza station light rail to get to the north side, and it’s only three stops away.

I was very appreciative of the attention, helpfulness and overall friendliness of the the folks at the front desk. The room was large, clean, comfortable and I could even customize the temperature. The waiters/waitress in the cafe were also friendly and helpful. Its a nice hotel in good spot and I expect to return again sometime soon.

I would not recommend staying at this property! We checked in to a 1 bedroom suit with a pull out couch, after getting to the room we were going to set up the pull out for the kids and it was covered in stains and disgusting. We called the front desk and they put us in a new room and gave us breakfast vouchers which was nice. Once we got into our second room it was time to take the kids for dinner so when we got back we went to make the bed up for them and there was no bedding so we called down to the desk and received it 1.5 hours later covered in make-up from the last guests. The next morning we went to breakfast which the food was great but went up to the buffet and the plate on the top of the pile had dried food stuck to it, sat down to eat and the cloth napkin had crusted stains on it. Needless to say we checked out of that hotel and went to another hotel across the street.

This is a two star hotel tops. Walls are so thin, rooms are outdated and look run down; might as well call it a red roof. Walls are so thin, you can hear everyone in the rooms next to you; I might as well been sitting with them in the room to join the conversation

Just to park the car took 45 minutes because the valet was only one person and the line to get in was around the block. At check in the man behind the counter was expressing how annoyed he was at everything to his co worker because he had worked late the night before, he was sarcastic and rude at check in to me when I did not do anything to him. During the night stay the elevators were not working and only 1 was available and the wait to get on it (we were in the 18th floor) was over 20 minutes. There was a pull out couch in the suite and there was no sheets or blanket and when we called we were told to come down and get them which took another 40 minutes to get the elevator both ways. In the am the fire alarm was going off and the man trying to fix it in our floor was yelling profanities to people on the phone and to other staff so much that another worker apologized to everyone. Seems that most staff hates their job and does not want to be there and doesn’t care who knows it. I’ve staying at a lot of double tree hotels and this was by far the worst.

The property wasa clean and safe. It lacked contemporary decor. The breakfast was poor and costly. Had to request cleaning service for every day of stay. The staff were very courteous especially Kelly! I would stay there again but must say, they were overpriced for a barebones hotel!
