Quiet, clean, with a nice view of the Ohio river and hills. The fall colors were beautiful.

Forgiving staff!

Ran into trouble at work while working in the area and had to leave a day ahead of schedule. One of the staff members let me cancel my room even after the cut off time.

Nice hotel

Pros: It was clean and quiet.
Cons: Reinstate the complimentary shuttle.
Location: Nothing to do nearby.
It is very isolated, nothing close by related to restaurants, shopping areas or tourist places. The hotel even cancelled their complimentary shuttle to downtown. Taxis don't come to the area, but Uber will. So you are quite stranded.

Poor maintenance

Poor maintenance

I stay at this hotel frequently. Both of my visits in august and october 2017 found the hotel poorly maintained. In august, when i asked about the waterfall and circulation in pool not working I was told the pool man did not work on weekends. In october, i called on thursday before my stay. Emily said the pool was in good operating order. On sunday, morning i called the front desk because there had been a noisy party the previous night. Emily again said everything had been taken care of. At my 2 year old sons birthday party sunday afternoon, the hot tub was broken, the waterfall was broken, and no water was circulating. I went to front desk and emily said the hot tub was closed long term. I told her she should have mentioned that when we spoke the week before. I also informed her the waterfall and circulation were not working. Nothing was done.

We stayed for a football game the next day. Comfortable room, nice bed and clean hotel and nice staff.

poor communication

the day of my stay 5 hrs before check in , i received a call from Expedia about my room. i called the hotel and was informed my room with 2 queens couldn't be given to me but a king and a rollaway would be available. i was informed that this was due to construction issues. i specifically wanted 2 queens to accommodate two adult men sharing the room. the rollaway was disgusting and it was to late to book anywhere else. they offered no discount for my inconvenience and told me that they were doing me a favor by upgrading the room to a king at the same price. poor communication calling me the day of my reservation while i was in route to the hotel. all making this impossible to find a booking somewhere else.

Good hotel for visiting Pittsburgh.

Bit disappointed this time around. Bathroom was a bit dirty. No towels for swimming pool. Underprepared for breakfast and no coffee. Glad we had excellent experience before. Will give another shot in the future.

Beautiful hotel with a river view in the back

Great staff, they were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very good, great selections. Beautiful outdoor seating in the back right next to the river

Service is always great

We love staying here, it's close by the city & our daughter. We've stayed here at least 4 times now and have never been disappointed.
