Nice hotel close to the conference centerPosted Nov 15, 2015
Pros: Hotel staff were wonderful. Taylor made us feel at home, giving us great info where to dine and places to visit.
My wife and i stayed at the hotel for four nights while we attended a conference at the convention center in November. It's a great hotel. Close to everything.

Nice hotel, most friendly staffPosted Nov 3, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, proximity to Heinz Field.
Location: Walking distance to stadiums, near museums, walking distance to Primanti Bros and other great restaurants.
We stayed at this hotel for a Steelers game and could not have been more pleased. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful and this is a great location to be in the middle restaurants, museums and proximity to the stadiums.

Comparison to other hotelsPosted Nov 2, 2015
Pros: The room size and amenities.
Cons: The hallways in the hotel were a little chilly.
Location: Within walking distance to everything in downtown Pittsburgh.
We enjoyed our stay in Pittsburgh. The hotel room was bigger for the price and nicer than the other hotels we stayed in (which were all in the downtown cultural district). The amenities in the room were better and the hotel staff were friendly and courteous. We take a trip yearly and plan to book again with Hampton Inn

Nice hotel close to convention centerPosted Oct 26, 2015
Pros: Free parking, free full breakfast, distance to convention center.
Cons: My room was adjoined to another, and so I could hear things next door more easily, like the occupant coughing for an hour in the middle of the night.
Location: Only about 3 blocks from the convention center; history center across the street. Lots of restaurants and things to see and do within walking distance
I stayed here because the designated hotels for my conference were full, but I'm glad I did! Free parking, free hot breakfast, and easily walkable to the convention center. My room and the common spaces (lobby, breakfast area) were clean and comfortable. Staff was great and check in was fast and easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Fine in a pinchPosted Oct 2, 2015
Pros: The individual rooms were well-maintained and cleaned. Other than the room desk, however, there is no natural sitting area.
Cons: The front-desk personnel needs far more training than they've received. They were all pleasant, but unprofessional for a downtown hotel.
Location: Easy walk to the stadiums across the river; directly across from the citadel known as the History Museum; 15 minute walk from the downtown core.
The rooms are fine. The public spaces are disappointing -- minimal lobby, mediocre breakfast bar. The location is in a back-water of downtown Pittsburgh, which explains its (slightly) lower-end room rate. The front-desk staff is of a quality and demeanor of small-town Illinois, rather than the downtown of a major metropolitan area, which is a reflection of the manner in which this particular Hampton Inn is managed.

Pros: Clean, security and close attractions.
Location: Near the Strip, all kinds of vendors, little coffee shops, markets & diners. Across the street was the Heinz Museum.
Very nice hotel within walking distance to the Strip and museum across the street.

Excellent hotel, where the staff go the extra milePosted Sep 25, 2015
This hotel was really well run, with very comfortable beds and nice décor, free parking and an acceptable, if not fancy, complimentary breakfast. Central location, handy for Downtown and the Strip. The reception staff were lovely and went the extra mile, looking up and printing off a bus timetable for me. Very impressive!

Great locationPosted Sep 21, 2015
Pros: Location and staff
Location: We were able to walk to the Strip District, Cultural District, bridges.
Excellent location so we were able to walk almost everywhere. The staff could not have been more courtious or helpful. Unfortunately, the only name I remember is Taylor who recommended great restaurants and offered to make reservations. Free parking!
