Comfortable, affordable alternative

Pros: Breakfast on site. We purchased a breakfast voucher with the booking. Reasonable choices on menu. Choice of pillow firmnesses.
Cons: The ice machine I found was empty. I found later there was another one. I didn't really need it that night, but it would have been nice to have.
Location: Monroeville Mall. A short drive along the interstate to Southside or Downtown Pittsburgh. Reasonably close to the University of Pittsburgh and CMU.
Downtown and Southside were fairly well booked due to a big football game. We tried Monroeville, which was on our route home. An easy drive from the downtown. We have family in the area. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfort and quiet on our Saturday night stay. There was even an athletic team staying, but all was quiet. Will stay here again, now that we found it. Much more reasonably priced than we'd been paying. Parking free. Nice breakfast available. We were in a king, poolside, which I think shielded us from some of the road noises.

Adequate hotel for a weekend stay

Hotel was adequate. A little difficult to get into if you don't know the area. Sleeping area as spacious. Bathroom was tiny. Shower was even smaller.

Off Turnpike, Good for Business Trip

Front desk staff was friendliest I've experienced in a while. Hotel was right off the turnpike; great location. Nothing fancy but just enough for a 1 night stay during business travel.

Staff is VERY friendly and accommodating! Bed was very comfortable. Bar appetizer menu could be expanded with more choices.

The staff was very pleasant and wonderful. Even when my baby got sick and vomitted on the sheets, they quickly replaced our sheet.

lack of concern

Terrible staff was non responsive to our questions and needs. Lack of knowledge of hotel procedures and billing. We paid for breakfast through hotels .com but breakfast wasn't offered. Room charge and what we actually paid for was different with no explanation. We will not go back and will tell everyone we know not to go there
