ok hotel

Pros: location
location is good, staff not very friendly. the sheets were a bit worn for this price you are paying.

Good location but disappointing hotel

Very nice lobby. Friendly reception staff. Needed to go back to recode keys. Only one creamer/sugar packet so only one of us could have coffee. Took 1 hour to get more. There was something dripped on front of cabinet that had frig. There was hair on bathroom floor and bath mat. Lamp at side of bed not functioning. Chair was comfortable but would have been nice to have an ottoman to put our feet up and lamp so can read in chair. The bed was extremely comfy. The transportation van was nice to get around downtown.

Close to the tracks

View was nice

Was between two families that partied were very loud called down said they would send someone up I'm. It sure how long it took put a pillow over my head second night they came in at 2 am and were up till 5 am no new towels and left dirty glasses did not give new ones

Excellentt hotel, but not the best service

Pros: Good clean rooms and the location
Cons: Service staff need to be more attentive to the needs of the guests
Location: In the tourist district (Station square) with good restaurants and access to tours nearby. Easy access by car, though expensive to park.
Overall the stay was excellent.However request for service (though minor) was not responded to. One of the bedside lights was not working and this was reported to front desk three times and each time they said they will send the 'engineer' but it was never fixed. Otherwise the hotel facilities were good, comfortable and enjoyable. Front desk staff was friendly, but not sure if it was their inefficiency or the engineering staff who dropped the ball. The parking rate was excessive at USD25 per night, but the parking facility was good. Location of the hotel, in the tourist district, is ideal. Lot of goods train pass by frequently and the noise might be a distraction for some. I did not find the noise excessive (and loved watching the trains go by!).

Good location, typical room

Pros: There is a free shuttle into town for any event or restaurant you plan to attend.
Location: It is beside the river with wonderful views from the room. Several very good restaurants in walking distance. Easy access to downtown.
We had a mid week overnight stay with a reservation. Check in was quick and easy. Unfortunately we were booked into a room that hadn't been cleaned. A call to guest services had us moved promptly. The room have not been recently refurbished. Paint chips and marred furniture was found, but the bed was comfortable the temperature good, the floor quiet, and plenty of hot water in the bath room.on the down side, the parking is not free, so figure another $23 dollars to the room charges. Bottled water in the room carried a $3.50 charge too.

Great Hotel Great Location

Pros: Location, rooms are very clean and if you're facing the river some great views of the city
Cons: DO NOT schedule a major convention the same weekend as a Steelers home game
Location: Carnegie Science Center, Casino, PNC Baseball Park, Heinz Field, Incline, Shopping on Smallman St, Great restaurants all over the city
Have visited The Burgh many times for Steelers games but first time staying in Station Square at the Sheraton. Would highly recommend staying there based on the hotel itself and the location. First time taking ferry over to Heinz field although it was a convenient way of getting to and from the stadium the wait after the game was a bit of a hassle but hey if The Steelers win who cares ! There's some great restaurants and bars all a very short walk from the hotel as well as the Incline close by if you want to get some great mountain top views of the city. If I had to complain about anything it would be the Dance competition the hotel hosted the weekend we visited. There were hundreds of families at the hotel from Friday to Sunday and not just the ones staying at the hotel they came from all over the state so the common areas in the lobby and by the bar were packed! They left a huge mess behind garbage bags empty pizza boxes the staff couldn't keep up with it ! At one point I needed to use the Business Center which is located right there in the lobby and there were parents taking up all of the spaces but not using the computers I asked if I could use the computer and one father in particular said sure but I can't have his chair just inconsiderate and downright rude if you ask me ! On top of that there was a wedding party staying at the hotel so the lobby at one point was busting at the seams !!

Breathtaking views of the city and the rivers!!!!!

Great hotel!! Park your car and walk around station square. Lots of shops and fabulous restaurants to choose from ranging in price .
