Not Exactly the Cleanest
This was a business trip. Arrived at the hotel Friday evening to check in, do a quick check of the room, and get dinner. During the quick check of the room, I didn't notice anything. Came back to the room after dinner and the room was stuffy. Found the A/C-heat unit unplugged. Went to use the fridge in the room and found it warm with a dead spotted lantern butterfly in it. Found that the fridge was also unplugged. Was out most of the next day. Back at the room after a long day, I discovered FLEAS in the bed and room. [They do not allow pets at this location.] Said something to the woman at the front desk and she switched my room. Had to move my family (including a sleeping child) around at 10 pm. While there were no fleas in the new room, there was hair in the shower and brown or reddish brown handprint on the shower curtain next to the toilet at face level. Having to take trips to Pittsburgh in the future, I will not be using this hotel again!

The rooms were very small and poorly set up! Sink fixtures were too small for sink. Tried two rooms. Just bizarre. Need to tear down building and start over. Was very disappointed as it was a Marriott property. Understand it is it’s low end version but still!

There were only 2 towels in the room when it was set up for 6 but 3 of us were staying in the room. Also, the toilet paper was low. We had to ask for more. Lastly, the sheets and blankets were small for the bed. With 2 people in the bed, we could not get covered.

Staff at the hotel was amazingly helpful and pleasant! Lobby and rooms smelled clean and fresh. On the downside, bed and couch in the rooms were hard as rocks. Shower leaked water all over the floor and also was causing mold to grow outside of shower in the grout. Hair dryer needed replaced. All info was shared with staff. Apparently the leaky showers are a known issue.

It was very nice hotel clean great breakfast and service. Pool wasn’t working , that was disappointing. Over all had a great stay !

Hotels.com is trash
Hotel was good. Hotels.com is trash and made my check in difficult because they didn’t pay the hotel and we had to wait for it to get resolved

Our room and bathroom areas were very spacious, with a desk, big TV, microwave, fridge, and couch, which was a wonderful surprise. We were right next to the elevator, which I never like, but I didn’t hear the elevator noise this time, just loud people. (The ones at 2 am sounded like they were standing next to me.) Our bathroom toilet/toilet handle did have a bit of an issue where it was loose and had to be held down to get the toilet to flush, but everything else about the room was great.

The hotel is clean and the attendant was super helpful. He moved us to a different room that was somewhat of an improvement. The pictures on here are not actual pictures. The rooms are super small, even though we had a suite. They don’t have posted that their pool is closed for renovations, one of the main reasons we went here, so my daughter could swim. For price of the rooms I would recommend shopping around as this one should not have been more than $150 bucks.

Room was nice but found some hairs in the bed when we pulled down the cover. The breakfast was great and unexpected after covid. Staff was very friendly!

I booked a king bed suite for my husband's 35th birthday after browsing through about 200 other hotels in the greater Pittsburgh area, some that were less expensive. We decided to stay at Springhill suites after looking at the room, the pool and the location. Upon check in, we were informed there was not a king bed room available and we would have to stay in a double, as well as the pool being closed for renovations "for about another month". The room was cramped. The decor, undesirable. The Feng shui, non existence. We laughed it off, but the truth is, this was a more expensive room than we could have got in Pittsburgh and not the room we wanted! We didn't even get anything comped to us or a discount on a room that we didn't want. I pay $17 for bags of chips and bottles of ginger ale. I would maybe recommend this hotel to someone on a business trip but not anyone looking for a great night. We were pretty disappointed and as a couple that rents hotels in Pittsburgh a few times/year, we won't be coming back.

The amenities we paid for they did not tell us were unavailable at the time of booking. The pool was under construction the ice machines were broken the microwave was not fixed and we we there 4 days and they never fixed it

Hotels.com customer service= top notch
The pool is under renovation which was our only reason for paying $200 per room, per night for 2 rooms. Hotels.com customer service found a similar hotel, close by and was able to transfer our reservation. It took a few hours but they made it happen. Our call was disconnected multiple times but they called back every time.
