Non-smoking room smells like smoke.

Pros: Staff
Cons: Better management.
Location: Near to lots of great attractions.
Great staff. Unhappy with quality of room. Noisy. Police woke us up banging on door across the hall. Slamming doors in middle of the night. Will not use again.

Great staff!

i made a mistake and booked the wrong night online. Front desk and manager fixed my problem and shifted my payment to the night I actually showed up. Great staff in a fine hotel in a nice little Berkshire Hills town.

Wonderful Experience!

Pros: Everything.
I was visiting Pittsfield to visit the library for research. Everything and everyone was the very best. Really enjoyed my stay of three nights and as an older woman found the staff, the restaurant, and my room just wonderful. I traveled by bus and it was a short walk to the hotel.

Not what I was expecting

The hotel staff are friendly. The room was clean but carpet was old and stained. The breakfast buffet mediocre--have had better at other hotels. Overall average rating. The. Restaurant dinner was good but wait staff not very attentive. Was disappointed in general.

Pros: Good location, staff was helpful,good breakfast, basic clean room, parking on premises.
Cons: The smell of the hallways is like an old ashtray. I am not sure if it is the rugs?
Location: We had a nearby wedding,rehearsal dinner. We were in a better location than the hotel that the bride/groom recommended.
The overall stay was good. We were here 2 nights. The room was basic but clean. There was no fridge in the room which was frustrating so we needed to get ice for cooler to keep water,yogurt cold. There is a parking garage attached but that was a little funky . Spaces were limited when there was a wedding at hotel. I don't think there is a solution to that. We were centrally located to all that we needed. We went to a fair in Lenox which is down the street. The. Real fast buffet was fine for the price. Overall we would stay here again if we needed to be in the area. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Location: lots of restaurants within walking distance
very good breakfast bar - seems like a good place for business types

Outdated and uncomfortable

Based on the photos of the hotel property, I expected an "average" stay here. The common areas are decent and kept up. The rooms on the other hand are outdated and the beds are not very comfortable. The parking garage is in major need of an overhaul - the celiling was literally crumbling down and there is caution tape throughout each level. For the price we paid for the Labor Day weekend, we could have stayed in a 4-5 star hotel in NYC. The staff, however, was exceptional and the location was convenient to most points of interest.

Overnight stay going to Tanglewood. Okay place. Friendly staff. Very musty carpeting - had a hard time sleeping.
