The Manhattan's glory days are over but everything shows what it used to be. It's like stepping into the past. Comfortable, convenient and very helpful staff. Budget price too.
not so muchPosted Aug 17, 2016 on Hotels
Old building, needing update on many interior items in rooms and in hotel common areas. No hot water in either of our rooms.

Hotel close to station and attractionsPosted Nov 12, 2015
Location was close to all the attractions and shopping stores and restaurant close by. The staff was very friendly and they let me check in early. The hotel is very old and outdated ok if your a solo traveler or with friends.

Ok Types hotel. But the best part is the location.Posted Oct 20, 2015
Cons: Hotel rooms to be upgraded
Location: 2 mins shopping mall, grand palace 7mins, Maaneken pis 10mins, metro station 10seconds, Nord station 7mins wailking, Good restaurants nearby.
Location was very nice. Near to city and Centre and all other attractions. 2mins walking from shopping malls. They need to upgrade the hotel a bit a quite a old hotel, Staff was helpful, especially Kamal Bhai, Also need to upgrade the breakfast as they only serve bread butter/tea/coffee and juice.

Cheap room within 1 block of everything you will need. McDonalds across the road with great coffee and free WIFI. Adult stores all around the entrance, but first class shopping around the corner. Walking distance from Central Square and Manaqin Boy statue

Central location but outdated facilitiesPosted Aug 3, 2015
Pros: Staff friendliness and well that's about it.
Cons: At least to provide cereal for breakfast along with single choice of salami, butter and jam.
Location: Location is OK very close to most attractions, 10-15 minutes walk with young children.
Hotel location is 10 minutes walk from the main attractions, however is very basic and needs updating. Staff are friendly, beds are, well dated but clean with set of clean sheets what else do you need for good night sleep. They could provide cereal for breakfast, along with the single choice of salami and butter. Coffee was just about ok, to summarize the whole was very basic. We were 2 adults and 2 children and stayed for one night only. Kids loved the old style furniture especially the lift which was surprisingly working. Don't expect nothing more than very basic and is ok for one night if on budget.

Welcome to European no-star reality.Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Affordable and 100% authentic old Europe hotel.
Cons: Well, everything, but then it would a Hilton. Some boiled eggs with breakfast would be nice.
Location: Walk. Explore the historic city from the Middle Ages to Art Deco.
You could pay five times as much next door, but you'd not sleep much better, so what the heck, go European old-hotel standards and live like the locals. Breakfast ain't much, but there's lots of coffee, bread and jam. I'd pass on the garlic-ladden sausage slices.
