Lovely hotel - incredibly white!

Pros: Friendly staff, good location, excellent rooms.
Cons: Nothing much.
Location: Located smack in the central part of Nice, with shops all around and Place Massena (the central hub) about 5 minutes walk away. Everything is walkable
A lovely, friendly hotel in the middle of Nice. The rooms are spacious and well laid out, the staff are helpful, and the location marvellous. The spa pool was excellent for winding down after a long day walking around. We would happily stay again. There is currently (Oct 2017) a tramway being constructed outside the hotel, but this was generally not a problem - there was the occasional bang and thump from the construction site, but nothing too early or too loud.

Excellent hotel with wonderful staff

Pros: The Staff - this includes reception, guest services, doormen, bar and restaurant staff. All were fine examples of employees who took a pride in their
Cons: The cost of breakfast was very high, particularly if your requirements are for just fruit, cereal and a cup of tea.
Location: The location is in the heart of the city and also just a short walk yo the magnificent promenade, the parks and old quarter.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly, professional and keen to make sure our stay was a memorable one. The hotel personnel responsible for guest satisfaction were exemplary. We were made to feel valued and nothing was too much of a problem. We will certainly return in the Spring.

Best of Nice

Location: You can walk to beach, local restaurants and the historic city.
This hotel is hands down the best five star in Nice. Upscale, modern, meticulous, great spa and gymn. Good neighborhood and walk to everything.

The hotel was conveniently located near to good restaurants and near the main shopping centre. Nice Ville main train station is a 10 minute walk away. There is a good tram service that is easy to use enabling you to see different parts of Nice. Unfortunately, it is currently being extended and works are taking place right in front of the hotel. Our room over looked the tram works and was noisy- the work men started drilling early in a morning and worked until late in the day. I'd recommend asking for a room at the side of the hotel whilst this work is taking place!

Nice Hotel - Good location

This hotel is located close to shopping area, beach and good restaurants and also close to train station and international airport. Very clean, and it shows, because everything is WHITE.

Disappointed

Pros: One receptionist did give us a great dinner recommendation, though. Room was kept clean by staff. Good location to beach, shopping, restaurants.
Cons: Room quality - repair lights and drywall, add missing coffee machine, don't advertise as king room if just 2 separate beds just shoved together.
Location: Good location to beach, shopping, restaurants. 10-15 minutes walk gets you there.
Hotel lobby was very pretty, but no public coffee machine or water. No coffee machine in room even though instant coffee left in room. We got rudely scolded for using coffee machine in public billards room off lobby because it was supposed to be for a private party but the room or tables in room not designated as such. King size bed was just 2 twin sized beds made up as 2 separate beds next to each other, which we know is common and don't have a problem with, but friends traveling with us at least had the 2 twin beds covered with king sized sheets. One bathroom light was burned out and light in shower fell out of ceiling and dangled by wires. Also, bare drywall for 2 bathroom walls that should have been tiled but weren't - the walls weren't even painted, just stained drywall. Hotel restaurant and bar disappointing - Maitre'd/manager at hotel restaurant took our bill and money so we could pay before leaving, but then made us wait several minutes while he seated several other parties. Before this time there were only 4 other guests in the entire restaurant. Difficult time getting coffee, juice from waitresses even with the only breakfast option being their buffet. Hotel bar closed at midnight, bartender always in back room, not even in bar, so had to yell into back room to get her to help us. This happened nightly upon returning to room after dinner. Just a lot of little items not quite up to par that made this stay disappointing for the price paid.

Terrible staff. Not the best location- far walk to get to restaurants, no breakfast buffet, fridge doesn't get cold, very limited channels/tv programs. This hotel is not worth it! Best to stay in a cheaper hotel.

Beautiful hotel

It is decorated with such good taste! The staff is so helpful and nice. The location is fantastic near the beach, restaurants and shopping. The rooms are beautiful and it also has a spa.

Not worth the money

The most disappointing was the food. Room service steak way over cooked and for breakfast I got served burnt eggs. Bar staff was slow and not helpful at all. Last but not least the bed and pillows were hard as rocks. They could at least in eat in decent pillows. I wouldn't stay here again.
