I was a nice place. Cars were to close in the parking lot. They sat there early in the morning with loud exhaust pipes for a long time and I was unable to sleep. The breakfast was really nice.

I thoroughly enjoyed the stay, however, what stood out to me was the customer service, cleanliness, and standing out as a safe environment. We will be coming back whenever we plan to stay in Placerville once more!

Most uncomfortable bed-definitely past its prime. Blood on the cloth shower curtain. Climate control not working. Forgot my room key and they gave me another one way too easily-never checked my ID or anything.

Free breakfast was good. I rented an EV and there was charging right there which was very helpful. Room was clean and everything worked. The negatives were a strong cleaner smell in the hallways, road noise from Missouri Flats Rd, and we could hear the people walking in their room above us. I would stay there again.

Strong strange smell in the hallway. Smell of mold in the room. Almost could not fall sleep doe to the noise from single pane window towards the busy street.

Lots of random people in hallway throughout the day entire bottom floow smelled like weed lots of loud noisy people fighting people allowing dogs to roam the hallway hallways felt old bathroom in room really old needs upgrade

Nice large room with a good hvac system. Unfortunately someone in the room above us was doing something that made our ceiling creak and groan from 10:00 pm to 11:30. Bed was hard and lumpy too. Good breakfast and pleasant staff.

It was clean, the staff were very friendly, the outdoor pool area was clean. The room was clean. Everything worked, the fireplace was tricky to figure out, but the front staff were helpful. The outlet behind the bed wasn’t great. Every time you roll over or move the bed at all, the lights would flicker and our phone chargers kept going on and off. Other than that, it was very pleasant experience. We had the room made up one of the 4 days we stayed there and it was nicely done. We would stay here again.

The Hotel was very well maintained, and the staff was pleasant, as well as efficient. That being said, the hotel does not have an elevator if your room is on the upper floor. If you have trouble climbing stairs choose a ground level room. Also, I think it’s worth mentioning for anyone with bad knees, that the toilets are very low to the ground. Overall, our room was clean, comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

PROS: Convenient location. Good Mexican restaurant next door. Nice desk staff. Lots of parking. Seems clean enough. CONS: No elevator (yet). Coffee isn’t good (but Starbucks is nearby). Rooms are a little ragged… the door jamb for my room looked like it had been kicked in previously and was cheaply repaired, the mattresses are uncomfortable, and the door corners/lamp shades have clear wear and tear. Breakfast is cleared away at 9am- sharp!- so be on time.

Front desk supervisor Tracy is not welcoming. She was rude and made us feel almost as if we were bothering her to work. Came in town for wedding, she was rude to other guests checking in as well. There is no need to say out loud while talking to another associate *well, everyone wants to check in early, so im just going to have to start moving people around and they aren't going to like it!* There was no need for passive aggressiveness. Almost felt discriminated. She needs to be more courteous. Im sure there will be more complaints from other wedding guests that stayed there.

The check-in was easy but the stay could have been better. The bathroom shower wall looked like it had not been scrubbed well, someone else's hair was on it, and it was just dirty. The beds were a little too soft for my liking and squeaky. Very noisy people checked in after 11pm and we could hear every move as they got to their room and the upstairs people were also loud. I think this is because there is no carpeting in the rooms, which is great for cleanliness, but for noise control it is awful. For the price we paid I'd expect a little better.

Expensive and disappointing hotel
Expensive and not worth it. Unfortunately it’s convenient to the location. Hotel is run down, no elevator, outdated, rooms are oversized which is good but there is no chair or couch to sit on. It’s good for sleeping only, that’s if you like a very hard bed. There must have been a circus going on in the room above us, thought they were going to fall through and join us. We had a worm in our bed, yes, a worm!!! Very expensive and not worth it. Disappointing would be an understatement. Ironing board broken In the room. Safe broken. Neither usable.

Did not clean our room on Sunday even though we put the sign out early requesting that service. Staff only gave us excuses when we asked why- 1- people did not show up to work, 2-We don’t clean rooms on Sunday. The restroom in the breakfast room had not been cleaned in quite some time. The room was in need of maintenance. We arrived and asked of we could checkin early as we were going to be visiting family and would not return until late. Our room was available but they said we would have to pay $30.Really??

The employees were absolutely great but the property is worn, dated and not amazingly clean. Doors, windows, walls were a bit grimy. The road noise is significant here. I’m a heavy sleeper and my road-facing room was so noisy it was difficult to sleep. Ask for a room facing away from Missouri Flat Road.
