Needs a bit of work on the rooms

Pros: Very pleasant front desk staff
Cons: Rooms have to be updated. The swimming pool is very small
Location: Close to the universities and Sawgrass Mills
I stayed for 4 days at the Renaissance and I will have to say that the Lobby area does look very nice. Unfortunately, it does look like the rest of the hotel needs to be updated, especially the rooms. The restaurant and exercise facilities are well kept.

Needs updates

Had two rooms. Fridges didn't work, mold on ceiling in the bathroom, everything in the rooms just needed a refresh. Lobby was nice. Pool decent but nothing great. I'm sure there are better rooms for the price.

Friendly staff

Great hotel! We stayed to be near family and will be back in the future. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially to one member of our party who was in a cast and crutches with a broken ankle.

Nice & relaxing

My husband and I wanted a nice getaway for our anniversary. The hotel was very nice, the lobby area was inviting. I think the front desk could've been better at making us feel welcomed as we had to wait before being asked if anyone was helping us when they saw that we were there. Other than that the breakfast delivered whatever time was good. The bartender I think his name was Kennedy was so friendly. It was quiet and relaxing.

Very Pleasant Stay for Two Nights

Everything and everybody was first rate. When the inside door handle of our room fell off (screw came out) it was fixed promptly and in return we were given two free vouchers for buffet breakfast for our inconvenience. Free WiFi.
