Very Nice Hotel.

We usually stay here every year for an Allstar Cheer Showcase. It is very nice. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean. The only complaints I have is that when we checked in they said they had us down for a King bed, when I specifically reserved 2 double beds and made note on the reservation "must have two double beds!". We had 2 adults and 2 kids, a king bed just doesn't work. They did resolve the issue but just having this issue at all upon check-in was disappointing. We didn't even check in much later that the earliest check-in time. The beds were a bit hard for our liking as well but other than that all was great! Convenient to our venue, and highway. Beautiful hotel.

Disappointed

Unfortunately, we booked a room for 1 night, and the hotel put us next too a suite. Apparently, there was a wedding earlier in the day and the family was still partying at 2:30am. The hotel didn't have any other rooms available. Disappointed the hotel didn't just say they were fully booked if they didn't have an acceptable quiet room available to begin with.

Needs a bit of work on the rooms

Pros: Very pleasant front desk staff
Cons: Rooms have to be updated. The swimming pool is very small
Location: Close to the universities and Sawgrass Mills
I stayed for 4 days at the Renaissance and I will have to say that the Lobby area does look very nice. Unfortunately, it does look like the rest of the hotel needs to be updated, especially the rooms. The restaurant and exercise facilities are well kept.

Needs updates

Had two rooms. Fridges didn't work, mold on ceiling in the bathroom, everything in the rooms just needed a refresh. Lobby was nice. Pool decent but nothing great. I'm sure there are better rooms for the price.
