A delightful gem in a surprising city
Posted Jan 9, 2018 on HotelsThis is a great little hotel! Very unique layout with top notch service, great breakfast, an incredible room, and an awesome location in the city. This was our first time in Montreal and we had a lot of fun walking around the park across the street and going to several restaurants nearby. Public transportation is very accessible and the city had so much to offer! Very safe area perfect for strolling and discovering interesting shops with a lot of remarkable restaurant options nearby.

Great location.
Posted Jan 2, 2018Definitely more of an auberge than a hotel. Which is to say it’s simple and unpretentious. It has nice rooms and nice staff.

Very Good!
Posted Dec 1, 2017 on HotelsEverything from check in to check out was perfect. Staff was very polite and helpful. Room was a bit too small but very charming. Room had a small balcony facing the park, which can be a huge plus during warm weather. Breakfast in the morning was good as well. Parking can be slightly tricky, we were lucky to get a spot on the street next to the hotel but I don’t think they have an assigned parking lot. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and wouldn’t mind staying there again.

Good Day Dear Sir or Madame,
Thank you for the sharing your experience with us and bringing up all the concerns to our attention.
Parking in Montreal in general as a huge north american town is in 99% is a privilege (in downtown the fees are in between 28$CAD and 40$CAD plus taxes for a single nights) even on Hotels landing zones, with or without Valet.
At the Auberge we're kind of blessed to offer parking from (0$CAD up to 8$CAD on the side street of the La Fontaine Park).
Also we definitely don't have an elevator because of the Historical aspect of the building itself, nevertheless we have only two levels and we do offer luggage service we also could of stitch you into the couple of rooms we have on the main floor.
For your next stay, We would suggest to get you freely one of the mentioned room as an upgrade, upon availability.
Kind regards

Last Night in Montreal
Posted Oct 30, 2017 on HotelsOur least favorite hotel/B&B out of four. However, we did get free street parking and breakfast. This should be rated a 2 star hotel/BB, not 3. Room was tiny. Stairs were SERIOUS. Would not recommend for those unable to climb. Location is more residential. Nice to see local living. Would likely not stay here again d/t size of room.

Perfect hotel that was recommended to us
Posted Oct 12, 2017
Pros: It is so pretty and in such a quiet location but near to great places .
We loved the feel of this hotel and felt safe.
Cons: Understand the booking . Our room was not fit for three people . It was too small plus it wasn't set up for three either . We still loved it though
Location: It is opposite a park , there bikes to rent by the park . The metro is a short walk away .
There are plenty of cafes bars and restaurants to visit .
This is a lovely hotel set in a quiet area , it is walking distance to an array of bars and restaurants .
The staff are lovely and helpful.
The only problem we had was with the room not being set up for the three of us . It was too small for us after they gave us a camp bed . However we would use the hotel again just the two of us as its amazing .
It rained on the only day we had in Montreal which halted our plans to explore , using the bikes parked straight opposite . It is perfectly located to walk , bike , metro to see Montreal .
Another time , we will come back again .
