Fab hotel, in the heart of everything

Posted Aug 12, 2017
Brilliant hotel. Could not wish for a better location, 1 minute from the beach and the main thoroughfare. Friendly staff, plenty of amenities for all ages from well-equipped gym to five aside football pitches.

Great holiday

Had a great week at this hotel, rooms do need updating but that didn't put me off, very clean throughout, good breakfast too. Staff are courteous and friendly. Very good location to bars, restaurants and beach.

Stunning hotel

Posted Jul 13, 2017
Beautiful hotel, beach at the back, restaurants and shops at the front. Friendly staff, good food, drinks what you expect to pay in a five star hotel. Could always find a sunbed. Couldn't fault the place. Felt really safe as well.

Superb large hotel close to the beach

Posted Jun 25, 2017
Pros: The high standard kept by the staff. Friendliness of the hotel. The breakfast. The pool. The location.
Cons: A little bit dated but excellently maintained - will definitely be back and will recommend
Location: designer shopping - 1st class restaurants - beach bars to sit and watch the sun go down - Hard Rock Cafe 1 minute walk - great location
Alicia at the desk welcomed us with a refreshing glass of cava and all the information we needed for our stay. Very friendly hotel - every member of staff was attentive and approachable. Great facilities. The rooms were spotless. The selection of food was superb and of a high standard - something for everyone and eggs cooked to order - any style. The pool is great fun to be around and again - high visibility of friendly staff from keep fit in the pool to the kids club to the bar. Great location beside the beach with loads of designer shopping on the doorstep - next to the Hard Rock Cafe and centre where the choice for restaurants is impressive.

Good hotel right in the middle of everything

Posted Jun 8, 2017
Good hotel right in the middle of everything, close to the beach and beach club, near all the good restaurants, fantastic pool and pool area.we have stayed in a lot of other hotels in the area and this is one of the best, only criticism is the decor is slightly dated now, but the location more than makes up for it.

Fantastic hotel beach on back of hotel

Posted Jun 2, 2017
Pros: My husband enjoys a hot drink upon waking - we ask for a kettle - it was there waiting for us. Nothing seems a problem for them.
Cons: The only thing is the bar prices, if they could be made more competitive then we would have spent more time in the hotel at night
Location: There is a lovely beach at the back of the hotel. Plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. One bar recommend (next to hotel) is Café Ole .
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly., Food was good with plenty of variety. Bars and restaurants are nearby. . Has a large pool (with 2 smaller ones for children) with energetic staff doing water exercises , if you there are games i.e. archery you are aske but not forced. Also there is a mini discos for the younger ones.

LARGE SUPERB RESORT

Posted May 27, 2017
ENCOMPASSING THREE HOTELS IN ONE LARGE RESORT, MED PALACE HOTEL WAS ABSOLUTELY A GREAT STAY. TOP FLOOR, CENTERED OCEANVIEW SPACIOUS ROOM WITH BALCONY WAS PERFECT, EVEN SERENADED BELOW WITH GREAT MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT AT NIGHT FROM 9 TO 11, WITH DANCING (AND A FLEE MARKET ONE NIGHT) ... SOFT ROCK AND LATIN SOUNDS. THE HOTEL COMPLEX OFFERED SOMETHING FOR ALL AGES ... THE LARGE INDOOR WATER FEATURE OFFERED QUIET AND RELAXATION. BREAKFAST AL FRESCO NEAR THE GIGANTIC POOL BEGAN ONE GREAT DAY AFTER ANOTHER. THE STAFF WAS MOST PROFESSIONAL WITH "REAL" CUSTOMER SERVCE. INCLUDED NEXT DOOR WAS A LARGE "HARD ROCK" FACILITY WHICH OFFERED, BESIDES THE COMMON AMENITIES, LIVELY BAND ENTERTAINMENT AND DANCING EVERY NIGHT ... INCLUDING FEATURED BANDS LIKE ROLLING STONES. LARGE BAR ADJACENT.. ADDITIONALLY, THE "ANTOLOGIA" BIG STAGE PERFORMANCE FACILITY FEATURED A MAGNIFICENT "FLAMENGO" EXTRAVAGANZA. MED PALACE HAS ITS OWN BEACH, IS LOCATED IN "BRAND NEW BUILT UP " AREA (ARONA AND SOUTH BEACHES), AND IS SURROUNDED BY GREAT DESIGNER SHOPPING/EATING AREAS, AS WELL AS MANY HIGH RISE CONDOS. .

Nice building but nothing going in the hotel

Posted May 4, 2017 on Hotels
Nice hotel, staff very thin on the ground, I think there were bars and entertainment but you'd have to endevour to find out, certainly no-one would tell you (except the blurred announcements from the pool side), no activity lists in rooms or posted under doors etc., my girlfriend said she found a list and a map on our second last day but I'm not sure where.

Excellant position with good bars & restaurants by

Posted May 4, 2017
Pros: The hotel situated very close to the sea and many good restaurants & bars
Cons: More training for waiting staff & room staff
Hotel area excellant. Rooms very dated and tried but ok. Air conditioning quite noisy presume because it's old. Staff happy to help but would say that more training would be good especially those clearing away at breakfast and those cleaning the rooms. Despite this we had a lovely holiday. This is not a 5 star hotel.
