I have stayed at many iberostars but this is by far the nicest

Nice hotel, nice environment

Pros: Everything starting with the people to the beach and the pool.
Cons: a bit of more flavors on the food.
I did this trip with my wife and at the moment we walked into the hotel the service was great, the concierge ( all of them Priscila, lluvia, ana, silvia) were excellent. They welcome you with a smile and readiness to help you They asked us if we were celebrating anything in particular ( anniversary) and the offered to us a multiple services ( support) while we stayed in the hotel. At the restaurants waiters /chefs( octavio) ( gabriela) and support staff were Excellent they attended to all out needs, specially with me that I have shellfish allergies. Food always fresh, good quality and flavors. The support staff at the beach incredibly supportive ( mariza) was on top with our towels, sunblock ..everything. ..the recreational team really good, friendly and respectful of your time. In general it is a good hotel .. 5 starts.. I ll recommend it.

Great experience

This hotel is great for its location and quality of service you get. All the hotel personnel are outstanding. If you need something, they will help you. The buildings and rooms are extremely well maintained and clean. Restaurants are good. The beach is nice and not crowded even if the hotel was full when we were there. Oceanfront rooms are amazing.

Pros: Employees really are top notch. They go above and beyond to make sure guests are comfortable and happy.
Cons: Make restaurant reservations more available. Teach the star friends to better gauge which guests are interested and which aren't.
Location: Felt safe. Beautiful beaches. Cirque De Solei theater directly across from the resort entrance.
Amazing! I have now stayed at 2 Iberostar Grand hotels and they simply cannot be beat. I'll layout what I thought were the pros and cons. PROS: Grounds are beautiful & safe. Rooms are pristine. Food is better than other all inclusives. Try the Taqueria in the shopping center if you get tired of the buffet. Employees are super friendly and helpful. Beach is beautiful. Soft sand, crystal clear water. Plenty of towels and chairs by pools / beach. Guys come around to take drinks. Options for everyone. Many food options, activity options, quiet pool if you are not into activities. CONS: Restaurants-- all require a reservation. Upon arrival we were told (both trips) that nearly every restaurant was booked. By "booked" they mean about 50/60% full. Your 2nd best option is to eat at their next level down hotel Maya next door, which is not as nice. If I pay extra to stay in the Grand, I'd like to eat at the Grand. We luckily discovered that the tacos at La Taqueria are delicious. I recommend trying to e-mail a week or 2 before your trip to make restaurant reservations. There is a good chance you might not receive a reply though. Star Friends: These people are in charge of hotel activities. They mean well, but a few were borderline harassing guests on the beach and in the lobby bar. People want to relax. Nobody wants to say "no thanks" 12x to volleyball or that night's show. Overall though, fantastic resort. I highly recommend it!!

We are glad that our facilities, food, drinks, beach and swimming pools have been to your liking and that our staff has always been attentive to your needs. With regard to your dissatisfaction with restaurant reservations, we can effectively assist with the first reservations of your stay in advance as long as the requests are made a week before your arrival and always being aware that schedules and opening restaurants may vary and that you can only make reservations in advance once for each of our restaurants. For the rest of your nights, you will need to approach your concierge or butler so they can happily assist you. On the other hand, it caught our attention that you felt intimidated by our animation staff, we can assure you their intention is never to make our guests uncomfortable. We are very sorry if you felt harassed and we will share your comments with the Animation Manager for his consideration. We hope we can welcome you back to any of our IBEROSTAR hotels. Best regards,

Ocean front room is spectacular. Staff is wonderful. Beautiful golf course. Top shelf cocktails and food. Only problem is leaving.
