Nice place I would definitely go again

Most of the staff was very friendly with the exception of a few in the specialty restaurants. Some of the restaurants could be managed a little bit better the wait staff was slow and not very attentive to your needs

Nice Hotel. The pools and the beach are both close

Pros: I like the idea of having a shopping mall right on sight that is private for resort guest only.
Cons: The mattresses in the rooms could be better, but I'm spoiled with my Tempur Pedic.
Location: We don't usually leave the resort once we get there. This trip is all about sitting back, relaxing and having someone wait on us all day and night.
This was the fifth time we have stayed at this resort and it won't be our last. A lot of the staff members have been there all five times and begin to remember you after a day or so. Everyone is very polite and helpful when you need it. If you don't want to be bothered, just tell them and they will leave you in peace. I always hate when it's time to leave because everyone there makes you feel so welcomed.

Pros: Free wifi . Pools
Cons: I would fire chef and hire new one

Cons: After about three days of buffet lunches and breakfasts I had had my fill - lots of variety but the same stuff daily.
Overall this was a lovely vacation spot. The beach is absolutely beautiful and clean with beverage and food service at the beach. The pools are really nice with quiet and more active spots. Specialty restaurants were a really nice end to a beautiful day.

Pros: el servicio es muy bueno ,las instalaciones en muy buen estado
Cons: la comida debe ser mas variada despues de varios dias en el hotel no hay mucha variedad .
Location: tuvimos una boda en el hotel todo estuvo perfecto ,fue de ensueño .hay mucho que hacer alrededor del hotel ,playa del carmen ,tulum ,xcaret,de todo.

Pros: buen servicio del personal ,las instalaciones en buen estado ,buena animacion ,tuvimos una boda todo estuve muy bien organizado ,la pasamos muy bien
Cons: lo que debe mejorar es la comida ,no hay variedad en los restaurantes de buffet ,y las bebidas en los bares no son sabrosas .
Location: hay muchas actividades que hacer ,mucha cultura alrededor me encanto

Great experience

Pros: The staff
Cons: The lack of cars to drive you around
Location: Tulum- such a fascinating culture with the Mayans. Akumal- snorkel it's a great experience
We stayed at the iberostar paraíso del mar and we had a wonderful time. My only complaint was the distance between the rooms and the lobby or other places is huge and they usually have staff driving cars to give you a lift but when it rains it seems they don't have enough people to take all the guests and wait a decent time for the next car. The food also at the beach restaurant isn't that good but the buffet and other restaurants are great! All the staff is amazing!! Overall, I'd recommend it but be prepared to walk.

Just remember to use the restaurant by the lobby. There was another one close to beach which was terrible.
