Jet Ski on the beach made my stay less enjoyable

This is a solid 4-Star hotel but I am removing 1 star for hotel allowing Jet Ski operating on the beach in front of beach goers. First, they are polluting the air and you feel like you are on the motor-way, you just cannot breathe the fresh ocean air, then there is a noise pollution, and finally gasoline engine jet ski is not environmentally friendly. Other then that the hotel is good but I will not return.

Rooms are extremely dark, not enough lights

The room felt dirty, the darkness did not help. Service was good, very disappointed with the room.

first mexico trip with kid

it was totally family oriented resort. facility is excelkent service is good. Especially personal concierge service was so good. only thing i dont like is bathtub and view. This mega size resort doesn't have beautiful ocean view except adult only grand paraiso. I stayed naya so room was very spacy which i like most and seoerate shower booth. but zacuuzi was too old looks that i never used. Exceppt this, everything is good . !!!!

Good facilities, buffet food excellent, a la carte restaurants ok. Having stayed here previously and given it 5*, it now appears a little tired and they definitely need more waiting staff asthw service was a bit hit and miss.

Great Family Vacation

Pros: Wave Pool, Lazy River, Hard ice cream available at all times. Helpful staff
Cons: Get rid of mosquitoes. More live band shows. Desserts should be sweeter
We went for a family vacation and had a great time. The resort is huge (5 hotels) but if you stayed in your own hotel resort, there was not too much walking. The large resort provided lot of amenities that smaller ones can't, such as a town square with a merry go round, taco, hamburger and ice cream shops. We were able to book a restaurant for every evening meal. There was a lot of seaweed on the beach, but it apparently plagues all of the hotels along the Rivera Maya coast. The staff removed as much as they could each day. There is a mangrove between the hotel and the beach, so you have to walk along a bridge to see the beach. All the staff was friendly except the lady at the ice cream bar (she wouldn't smile and gave us dirty looks). The desserts were not appealing because they weren't sweet enough. Overall - a great resort.

Big hotel

We stay at Maya really nice architecture like a pyramid, the rooms are ok, but not an ocean view on any of them, the housekeeping did an amazing job every time. The food was great, but we did not like the we have to make an appointment to get to the restaurant, I didn't have chance to try it because of that, but buffet it's really nice

Not good anymore

This is my second visits to this resort and I loved it in my first visit but not anymore. Ibersotar changed their business method so only u are wecome only if u join the membership. If u are not a member, it is difficult to make a dinner reservation and u are limited to use all the facilities. Membership costs you more than $50,000.00.
