Hotel was in a great location. Not super close to the busy section that you had all the noise but close enough that it was easy to walk to the popular areas. Staff were friendly. I’d go back.

This place is good walking distance to the beach and main tourist areas in Playa, and the garage parking is nice although be aware you do need to ask someone to open and close it for you every time. Both days we were there the streets around the hotel were closed, because it is across from the main square where they have festivals. So it was kind of hard to navigate to the hotel, we had to ask police offers to move the barriers to let us in. Most of the rooms cost less than $50 and for the price, I think it is a great choice. However, absolutely do not book the "premium room" which tricked me because it did not have a clear description. It turns out that the premium room just means that there are two separate rooms, one of which is a "kitchen" area, although you couldn't actually cook anything in there (or sit, there wasn't a table or even a chair). It seemed to be that because there was a tiny dirty oven, it doesn't include the breakfast. No room coffee either, only instant in the lobby. This room was on the first level of the hotel, and neither area (kitchen or bedroom) had a window, only a sliding glass door next to the bed that opened directly onto the main pathway through the hotel by the pool, so we had to keep the blackout curtain closed the entire time which made it feel a bit like a prison without any natural light. The shower never actually got hot, which was also a big negative. There is no blanket on the bed, only a sheet, so it was cold at night.

Beautiful property. The staff are amazing! Friendly bunch of guys always willing to help and answer questions. The hotel is nice and quiet with no kids around and far enough from the parties. Location is great for going out for dinners or the day. I didn’t use one cab over the 11 days I was there. Breakfast is also a plus.

Siamo stati in questo hotel per una settimana. La camera e il bagno sono abbastanza grandi, ci sono 3 piscine e nel ristorantino accanto si fa colazione. Si trova in una zona tranquilla, si riesce quindi a dormire bene, ma in 3 minuti a piedi si arriva alla quinta avenida. È anche vicino ad una stazione Adu. Se dovessimo riandare a Playa del Carmen, dormiremo in questo hotel.

Excellent value for money - whilst this is a more traditional style of hotel and not necessarily as luxurious as some options in PDC, I really do think you get a lot for your money in comparison. The room is not huge but does have a UK size superking bed, excellent shower and aircon. There are three hot tubs and a roof top bar as well as beds to use around the pool area. Best of all is the location - a short walk (few mins) to main strip and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Parking is an underground lot, we never had a problem getting a space and it is secure. Suggestions for improvement is 1. the breakfast - whilst a decent selection of hot food is cooked to order (pancakes, omelette etc) you are only allowed one option and one drink - meaning you have to pay extra if you want coffee and orange juice, which I found a bit miserly. 2. The sunbeds and beds around the pool are quite worn and stained, worth replacing. Overall highly recommended

I stayed 1 night here on my stop over to Tulum. The location is AMAZING for walkability! The room is small but clean and well appointed. I removed 1 star only because the mattress was extremely firm and quite uncomfortable for me. Otherwise, great little spot

We really liked the design with an inner courtyard and the rooftop pool and bar. All the guys at the front desk were very helpful and pleasant. Isabelle at the rooftop bar made great margaritas for a great price. The breakfast was good, but be careful when you make a reservation of whether it is included or not (at $5 extra it was still a good deal). Rooms facing the courtyard have a much nicer view from their balconies, and are quieter than the outside facing rooms.

We had a great experience with this hotel. We stayed a couple of nights. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were nice and clean, they were perfect if you want to stay close to 5th avenue, which is the main avenue where restaurants, bars, disco and shops are located, but far enough of the noise of those places. It’s very well located if you also want to take the ferry to Cozumel.

We loved our stay at La Passion. The staff could not have been more helpful - from helping us book the tours we wanted without upselling us, providing us with solid recommendations for amazing food that wasn’t geared towards tourist prices, offering to order us food so we could eat on the roof while watching the sun set, and providing us with takeout food on days that we couldn’t make breakfast. As a plus, the rooftop bartenders make killer margaritas and the restaurant next door has incredible food.

Nice little hotel. Rooms on courtyard were quiet. Walkable to beaches, dining and shopping. Fun and relaxing to sit in the park across the street in the evening. Friendly and helpful staff. Elevator is out of order and there are a lot of uneven surfaces-so can't recommend for anyone with mobility concerns. Also lights on AC are super bright-like sleeping with the lights on. Shower is very small.

Great small hotel for 2 nights stop over. Good central location, very near ADO bus station. Few mins walk from 5th Ave but in a quiet location opposite lovely public space. ( food and craft stalls on Sunday night while we were there) Room old and dated but clean and had safe, AC, mini fridge, hairdryer , toiletries.

This property was top notch! I got an incredible deal on the 5 night stay and was skeptical, but it definitely impressed me! The breakfast is cooked to order in the morning. Awesome. The rooftop pool with the full service bar, 2 hot tubs, day beds and a great view of the park down below. The park has a night market that runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday with great vendors and tasty food. It was safe and close to all the action. Amazing. I would definitely recommend!

Pretty pool areas and loungers. Classic boutique hotel, quaint and quiet, very walkable to 5th and 10th aves. The hotel staff kept our bags safe for us, as we arrived very early and wanted to walk around. They ended up getting us into our room early, which allowed us to get settled and clean. They also assisted us booking an ADO bus back to Cancun for our flight home because we were having troubles with it. The girl bartending by the pool was wonderful, very personable, great drinks and played good music. Would definitely return! Only thing I can suggest is more blankets on the bed and fresh towels more often. Loved the atmosphere!

The rooftop pool and hot tub were awesome and we had a great view of the city. Also, the poolside bar refreshments and next door cafe breakfasts were wonderful. Front desk staff and the bartenders were gracious and accommodating.

The overall aesthetic was nice. Omar and Rick were helpful and kind. Another man at the front office who I called for transportation assistance hung up on me after saying he didn't speak English. Very convenient location to Fifth Avenue and Walmart. Right in front of Palacio Municipal--kids playing all day in front of this adults only hotel. Walls were paper thin. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of options.

This is my home away from home. The warmth and friendliness of all staff is unsurpassed. Martin, Conrad, Omar and Ricardo are the most wonderful and helpful guys at the front desk, always ready to lend a helping hand and share a laugh or two. This quaint and interesting hotel is central to everything you could want! Walmart is one close block away, 5th Avenue is a short 3 blocks and the beach is only one block past that. Eateries abound and each weekend there is a huge market across the street, offering all kinds of food and vendors offerings. The breakfast is varied and delicious. I can't say enough about this hotel that makes you feel like family! ♥♥♥

Adorable property with good character. We enjoyed the roof top pool and bar. It was close to shopping and restaurants both local and those geared for tourists. Things were clean and comfortable. The only negative was the bed was wobbly and when I or my partner moved the whole bed wobbled.

The rooms were a little small for me, but it is a boutique hotel, so I guess I should have expected it. Otherwise, it was very good. Close to a lot of restaurants, 5th avenue and one block from Walmart, which we visited almost daily. If you like Al Pastor Tacos, try Ay Tacos across the park.

This is a really cute boutique hotel just a block and a half away from 5th avenue, the vibe of the hotel is really Mexican, I love all the details, my room has a balcony to the pool, amazing exoerience!

This property is great if you don’t have kids and want something quiet and quaint. Additionally the rooms are quite small and I know when I go on vacation my kids need room. The bathrooms are small but work perfectly fine. The bed is comfortable but has very thin sheets and blankets so turn down the AC if you get cold easily. The staff are very cordial and the rooms are clean but if you miss the daily cleaners your room will not be cleaned. The location is ideal as it is very close to the Main Street and also what is great is as close as it is to the Main Street the rooms remain quiet. If traveling without my kids again we will stay here!
