“Eric was very friendly and helpful. The pool area was immaculately clean. The unit itself was very clean and high tech, with a great AC unit. The walk to the beautiful beach takes 3 minutes, but there's a ditch crossing along the way that might be difficult to navigate for those with mobility issues.”

“Best small pool ever met in motels. Kitchen is equipted not bad, but not enough plates and chef knifes, no bottles opener. Parking is convenient. Overall good place, grocery store is beside. ”

“This place is rather dated and needs updates and repairs. Broken kitchen drawer, toilet runs on after every flush, mickey-mouse shower set up, we were obligated to clean pool every day if we wanted to use it, wifi faded in and out, and it generally felt like 'economy' lodging. A bit disappointing. Location is a short walk to beach, which we really liked.”

“We stayed four days in April 2026. The property is wonderful, with an extensive beach, great pool and wonderful staff. The restaurant is very good, lots of variety and lots of food. Breakfast was wonderful with fresh fruit and a good menu. Our room was clean and the Air Conditioning was good. The hounds are extensive, trees, shrubs and Howler monkey in the trees. Would stay there again. ”

“Hotel Villa Acacia in Playa Hermosa was a great pick for us and I recommend this place for accommodations. Very quiet, lovely grounds, nice small pool area, and our room suited our need. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfasts included was a bonus and was delicious. Location was a short walk to the beach and restaurants. ”

“This property is a “Diamond in the rough”. The location is perfect. A half block from the main Beach (the moneys show up around 4-5 pm) and tons of shops, restaurants, bars and all things fun rentals. The staff were superb as was the complimentary breakfast. The rooms are a little dated but very clean. There seems to be something entertaining going on every day or evening in the bar/restaurant area and the pool area was a perfect oasis. We have travel many times to the all inclusive beach……

“Staff was easy to communicate with, they’ll send you a message on Expedia, then contacted me on what’s app (most of Costa Rica uses this). They sent me a pin to check-in location. Parking is provided in secure lot, right out side of condo. They give you a key that opens the automatic gate. Multiple pools on site. There is a small grocery store a couple blocks away that has all the essentials. Multiple restaurants/bars within walking distance. The beach is down the street and very nice. There’s……

“We booked a room with a beach view. There are no room in facility that will give you beach view. ”

“Clean and comfortable. Pretty grounds with cool monkeys and a nice bar. However, I would not recommend for solo travelers. No excursions could be booked without 2 people to make it happen. Poor lighting at night around the property. A ton of stairs, more than the average person could climb regularly. Be prepared to be tired walking around for food unless you call for a shuttle. Shuttles drive so fast, I was almost run down twice while waking. No mention of a gym or spa. Not a lot of food……
