Great place nice people think I will said is I do know it was Monday but they need to meet the place clean at all the time other then that I love it and defenalky will come back to this place
The hotel was located on a clean stretch of beach and the grounds were kept up very nicely. For a central American hotel it was above average but had a few things that could use improvement. The restaurant menus could be expanded by adding a few items. An example would be adding French toast to the mornings very limited selection. They tried to electrocute us in the shower with they way they try and heat the water. If you touched the shower head, you received a big shock. The previous guests had misplaced the air conditioner controllers and you had to call the office to change the room temperature. All in all it was a pleasant experience.
Bad food and too expensive.
TV not working well
Sand on the floor of the bungalow
Noisy bed

I think it needs a lot of improvement and for the price they are charging they should include all meals. I would rather go somewhere else for the price. Even the Wi-fi has a separate charge.
I made a reservation for 2 rooms, at the lobby the hotel claimed my 2nd reservation didn't exist; so i was only given one room and turned family down to stay.
When i got back i was charged for the room and now the hotel and expedia claim i was a no show, even though i offered to show proof I was in the hotel 3 days in a row they refuse to help me
Save your self and book elsewhere
I stayed here 5yrs ago and it was a great experience; but the last 5 yrs have torn this place to a one star hotel.
Staff was unprofessional, my wife is a very attractive woman and walking the grounds was not a good idea; the young staff here had remarks that made her feel unsafe and scared to walk alone.
Rooms are not safe at all, we were electrocuted by the shower head, not only when you touch it but also the water that flowed.
Pillows smell like and had a mold like substance, this was the case for all pillows. Sheets and bedding was stained and old looking.
Bathrooms were old and dirty, they looked as if someone changed their oil and touched everything in there.
I had hosted a family getaway and a 2nd room i reserved through Expedia was charged but hotel claimed they didn't have a reservation; i had to turn family back and when i got home I was charged for the room and hotel later claimed i was a no show thus they charged me for a room they never provided us.
The Resort was was difficult to get to because of the neglected road, there was a really bad storm and no lights on the road it takes more than 40 minutes day or night because of the cows and bigs and trucks that will not let you by (you have to wait). When I got there the attendant stated that restaurant was closed and I would have to wait until the following day. I stated that I had called from the states because the plane was arriving late, and the Office Attendant told me then that it would not be a problem. finally I told him I wanted to talk to the owner, the restaurant was then open. (a 50 minute debate). When the chauffeur arrived early to pick me up, and asked if he could call me the Attendant just told him to sit down and wait, He also asked the callers questions but wouldn't send the call to the cabin just give me a note. This was like a locked institution. I have been to a lot of places over the years this has been the worst experience ever. The restaurant tables hand bird droppings and the waiters would wipe them off with their hands (not hygienic) for food servers. The food was awful and the waiters would add other items to the bill (review your order before you pay.) very unfriendly people that do not know what they are doing). the toilets would not work in both cabins that I was in and only cold water. there is nothing near this resort so you are stuck with what they have.
I had a wonderful stay. Everything in this facility is A+. I stayed last year and it was wonderful also. Next year I will stay there again. I will not go anywhere else.

Basil Faulty was at reception and would tell you anything you wanted to hear, it just wasn't the truth. Pool was grean due to pump problems, $30US to get from the airport 20 minutes away by taxi. None of the staff except Basil spoke English. Walking along the beach was scary as dogs came barking at you. Beach was littered, beaach front was full of hovels. If it wasn't a stop over on a long trip I would totally give San Salvador a miss, went to the city last time and that was very third world too. Maybe Panama City next time.
We were happy with the hotel.

Beach hotel close to airport
While staff was accommodating by storing our luggage while we enjoyed the beach, the food can use improvements. I didnt like that you need a tab to pay for food -drinks. Small beach, strong rip tides, nice garden, ample bungalows, AC in bedrooms only, WiFi in restaurant and lobby only, nothing around walking distance.
My stay at Hotel Las Hojas was exquisite. Excellent price, service, cleanliness, food were all wonderful. I will be staying there again next year and right on the beach which is what I wanted.

Overpriced experience
The only think that I enjoyed was the music show. The food is a joke with the small portions ,waiting time and price. The sign near the pool is not accurate regarding the operation time (6 am to 10 pm) instead it is 8 am to 9 pm.

Close to the beach.
I was charged an additional 500.00 from day one. That was an awful experience from the start. The front office rep said expedia did not reserve what I requested, therefore, the cost increased. Some employees were very nice others need people skills. Very close to the beach. Restaurant food pretty good. My son loved the animals on site. The pool is okay. It was too hot for outdoor activities which they have plenty of. The resort is really designed for the locals.
it's nice and quite, excellent for honeymoon. I like the service, food is expensive compering with other club in the El Salvador I did visit Decameron price for entrance is same but the food is as buffet.no limit for drink and food

3 star resort close to airport
Facility has beautiful gardens with birds, even monkeys. Beach is not the best in El Salvador. Bungalow was not comfortable at all, very noisy air conditioning, no hot water, poor furniture. Breakfast is terrible, at restaurant you have really limited choices, but food is fresh and good prepared. Sport facilities over average.

nice
Nice but the room was smelling bad and hard to get out
We enjoyed our stay at Las Hojas! I wouldn't consider it a beach club, having traveled to Cacun and punta Cana! The food is good. I just wish more people spoke English. My husband is El Salvadorian , I only speak English. We have many friends in America that travel back to El Salvador and we will recommend Las Hojas!

Good option for El Salvador
This is a nice little hotel. The staff is very nice. The price is adecuate.Safe
However they need to maintain better the grounds, You can see trash on the floor, the pool the water was not totally clear, so I did not get in .
The beach is nice for salvadorean standards, always you have to remember that there is undertow.
The food is salvadorean home cook style, it was good. But the service a bit slow.
Everything about this place is bizarre. From driving down a sketchy dirt road to get there to wild animals kept in cages this place is unappealing. No one here speaks english, and they make no attemot to try to understand or help. The place is pretty much deserted except on the weekend when tourists from San Salvador come. Everything closes at 9pm. Literally you cannot get a drink after 9pm. We got an electric shock from the shower head in our room! and when we asked about it we were basically told weverything was fine, just dont touch the shower head. There are monkeys and parrots and a crocodile kept in small cages. They look miserable. Although this hotel is on the beach and close to the airport, don't go. It is extrememely overpriced and the staff are not helpful.
This is the worst hotel that I have ever been. The location is very remote and far from civilization. I decided to check out and leave to San Salvador instead. The entrance to the hotel is scary, especially at night.
This hotel is GOOD.. It is near the beach and it is in excellent condition. This hotel is very FAR from the airport and to get there takes a good 25/30-minute ride (Taxi charges about $25 to get there). Even though this hotel has many open areas, there were no people in the hotel to enjoy them.. This place was lifeless (September is perhaps low season).. The restaurant is alright. Swimming right by the restaurant.. Staff is very friendly. Internet is available in the restaurant and reception ONLY. Thanks....... J@R@

Great Hotel
My first impression was really bad about this hotel as is in very poor and bad area, the roads to get there are extremely bad...but once I arrived, I was impressed about how clean and nice the hotel is althought the rooms could use a liitle upgrading, but overall is a clean hotel, the service was great. My wife and I really enjoy it.
