This is a hard-to-believe story. I PRE-PAID for a two night stay, Fri-Sun, 3/22-3/25/2024. We knew we’d be a late arrival so my girlfriend called to advise the hotel of our plans. She spoke with manager Kamesh (sp?) and were assured that it would not be an issue. So when I arrived Saturday afternoon to check-in, I was told that I was considered a NO-SHOW, the room was no longer available and they had No Vacancies. Also told I was charged for the first night but that they would refund the cost of the second night. Shocked (and a little pissed) I got on the phone with Manager Kamesh to “remind” him of the call we had with him and all he could say was that he didn’t “remember” any such conversation.
Now we’ve all messed-up from time to time but it just really got my goat that this “Manager” wasn’t man enough to admit his mistake. Plus I had to walk to the hotel down the road as I was fortunate that they had an available room for us. And of course, no offer from the hotel to get an Uber for us.
