Compared to other hotels in area, La Quinta free breakfast and family friendly staff alow for you to get more bang for the $$$. Arthur at The front desk goes out of his way to make sure you and your family are not only enjoying your stay at the hotel, but have a fun event full day planned in the city. It's nice to receive that level of service from the hotel. The Hilton, Marriott's, and even extended stay, were double the price. I never thought I would say it but book this La Quinta.

The hotel is clean, but is noisy you can hear everything that's is going on in the hallway, and in the rooms around like the bathroom flushes, the water running. The staff at the hotel the people at the front desk they are a little careless we call them because the bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke to ask if it was a non-smoking room they say it was and they didn't even come to check why it was smelling like that nothing. Then we call them because the remote control the batteries were low, so we needed them to replace them the girl just told me let me check and never call back or replace the batteries.

Rude host at check in. Hotel is being remodeled and is not being kept clean. Halls and public areas being used for storage.

The hotel was great. The only issue I had was with hotels.com not updating my stay so the hotel itself had no knowledge of me staying on the day I was there because there was an original mistake with the date for the week before and had to change dates. Got a conformation email that it was changed. So after 45 mins standing in the lobby of the hotel on the phone with hotel.com I finally got in my room. All in all the hotel was great. Will give hotels.com the benefit of doubt but another issue and I would book right through hotel

Enjoyed my stay here. Staff was very nice and check in was quick and easy. Sizable room that was comfortable with good amenities. Would stay at again.

My favorite dog freindly hotel.

Pros: Dog friendly
Cons: A little worn in spots
Location: Near some very good eateries.
A lot of hotels make it on to the "dog friendly" lists, but to my knowlege only one hotel chain accommodates dogs for no additional charge. This La Quinta was nice, comfortable, clean and, once again, embraced my golden retriever.
