I read the other reviews regarding the small size of the flat and factored this in. "We reserved this property and paid for it in April for our stay mid June. We reached out to the owner several times with no response regarding our check in details. We arrived at the property at check in time to find that the house is a permanent residence and not rented out as a vacation rental. We had to find last minute lodging for 6 people. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house and garden were lovely and we enjoyed the hot tub, especially on some of the cooler days. The area is beautiful and incredibly green and lush compared with the coast. Vedran was very helpful with suggestions as to what to do in the area - we thoroughly enjoyed our canoe trip and a visit to the bear sanctuary. Plitvice Lakes were stunning but very busy. I would recommend this house to anyone who enjoys being away from the crowds."

"We were only in the house to sleep after arriving late and then rushing back out to see Plitvice before it rained. We had a little trouble contacting the property manager when we first arrived to gain entrance into the home since we couldn't make a phonecall with our US phones, but we found a nice local who called for us. We liked how the house wasn't too far from the park entrance and we wish we had more time to enjoy the table on the front porch."
