"We were there for just 2 days and wish it could have been longer. We only used the upstairs, a small, rustic, but efficient space with a great deck(s), barbecue and table. It was great for our 2 dogs who also loved the water. For those in decent shape, the stairs are noticeable but not a detriment to enjoying the lake. The nearby town of Harrison is fun. Note that it's a slow, windy, but beautiful 10 mile trip to get to the place. There doesn't seem to be an abundance of hiking trails nearby, but more likely we just couldn't find them. There are nearby places to launch kayaks, paddleboards, etc. "

"We were in the area for a graduation, and it was a perfect, quiet weekend stay. The house was very clean and comfortable, nicely furnished and provisioned. We loved the hot tub and the recently renovated deck with grill, fire table, and plenty of seating with lovely lake view. It was a short walk down to the lake, and the provided kayaks were awesome.
