Room recently refurbished and decorated so lovely and clean.Shower didn't work though which was a pain. Breakfast was fine and waitress was friendly and prompt.Would use again as long as the shower is fixed!!!

Comfortable room and great servicePosted Sep 14, 2011 on Hotels
The customer service was great. The owner really helped us in accommodating another person by finding us another room. Vera, who wears many hats is a great help and wonderful at serving breakfast and assisting in whatever you need. The room is clean and comfortable. The location is very close to the center of town and is in a very nice area.

Nice hotel and close to the best viewPosted Jul 27, 2011 on Hotels
This is a small hotel in an old renovated house, the owner is very nice and make you fill at home. The hotel is situated very close to the Hoe,the hill overlooking Plymouth sound,so you can take a short walk before breakfast. The breakfast was cooked by order and very good. I would recommend this hotel for hospitality, athmosphere and location.

Unhelp, incompetant, cold hotel. AVOID!Posted Jul 24, 2011 on Hotels
Parking is a nightmare. We booked a twin room, but they only had a double for us, they were very unhelpful and unfriendly regarding the problem. The room was absolutely tiny, the bed was rock hard, and the bathroom was dated and dirty. The TV only worked on a couple of channels too. Woke up after a terrible nights sleep freezing cold. The breakfast was the only part of our entire stay that we werent dissatisfied with, it was all freshly cooked for us which was nice. The poor over worked young polish waiter took order for drinks but then forgot to bring them, summed up the place really. Ignore the good reviews and stay somewhere else.

Just averagePosted Jul 12, 2011 on Hotels
We liked the location of Camelot (near the waterfront), and the room was clean. But the room was tiny, the front desk was unmanned (someone usually came if one rang the bell), the TV didn't work till we did a channel search, and the fan in the bathroom didn't work. Overall, this hotel was sufficient but undistinguished and lacking in charm.
