It’s a dump

My own fault for waiting until a couple of months before my daughters graduation at Plymouth State university and not being able to find a room. This place was awful. I booked two rooms one for my mother and another for me. My room smelt so bad that we had to open the windows. As a result the room got cold and at 11:00 at night we tried to turn on the heat and it didn’t work. The curtains we all beat up, screens were all broken. When we spoke to the manager at 6:00 in the morning he said he had to get a lighter to turn it on. When we said okay prove that it works he couldn’t. When we asked for a refund on just my room he walked away yelling, “you get no refund”!!! It’s a disgusting motel. I hope to get my money back via Expedia or my bank.

Bathroom was so small and cramped that i had to reach under my armpit with my opposite hand to get to the toilet paper roller! The queen bed was very comfortable but the pillows were hard as rocks. The room has had some damage to the walls and the repairs were poorly done. Looks dingy, though it was clean. The continental breakfast was satisfactory. This was $150 per night stay for something I couldnt wait to get out of. I am fairly certain the price was jacked up because it was PSU's graduation weekend.

disappointed

bed was not comfortable--shower head was at a height for a 4 ft person--no room in shower vary small--no electric in bathroom-extension cord from room to a plugged in heater in bathroom-Food in morning was alright--would not stay here in this cottage again 1 double bed--don't know about other rooms

Hotel was dirty, smelled of cigarette smoke, and the mattress sank down in the middle.

Overall not bad...but...

I booked a cottage for 4 nights. Upon arrival I was given a regular motel room. The owner was out at the time and an older gentleman was there to greet me. He was just filling in and at the time couldn't really solve my problem. I stayed in the motel room for the night. In the morning I explained my dilemma to the owner and she wasn't apolegetic. I also got the impression that she just didn't want to deal with 'their" mistake. I had paperwork to prove my accomodation so she kinda had to fix it and make it right. She did and I got my cottage. Unfortunately when this happens you unpack all your stuff into 1 room only to pack it all up again so you can unpack it into another room which is very annoying. I then checked into the cottage. It was clean, cosy and comfortable. The property and grounds were recently improved and well maintained. It is also very close to Plymouth and anywhere else you want to explore in that area of the state. Overall the stay was good but the service here needs improvement.

We could not stay there - uninhabitable! Their cabins should not be rented in their present condition. Shame on the owners.

The staff was not attendable rooms were clean it was noisy at night.i will not stay here again or recommend it to any one!!

Initially our reservation could not be found, which turned out to be a mere hiccup as the lovely lady at the front desk resolved that quickly. Our room was neat and clean; nicely equipped with the basics, as well as a frig. The bed linens were fresh and comfortable. All that and a very nice continental breakfast too. If in the area once again, we would definitely opt to stay here.
