My room was right above the bar area in the atrium. On Saturday night it was a little noisy in the sitting room part of my hotel room. However I could not hear the noise in the bedroom portion of my room

Great place to Stay

Pros: The large comfortable rooms
Cons: The overpriced breakfast
Location: Mall across the street (walking distance)
The Hotel is EXCELLENT! The gym is very good for a hotel. 18 from Philadelphia w/o traffic. My only choice to stay when I go to the City of Brotherly Love (which is often) walking distance to shops and restaurants. Very comfortable and quiet. The only drawback is the overpriced breakfast. Other than that Wonderful! I love this hotel

Needs work

At checkin i was given an upgrade to a suite for free. Nice right? Except that the suite had an a/c system that would not reduce the temperature to a comfortable level and there was a toddler in residence next door who screamed all night.

worst experience I ever had staying in a hotel

Pros: NOTHING
Cons: EVERYTHING
Location: MALL
First of all they put a child in the floor above us and he or she was running and jumping around well after midnight. Could not even get to the gym because their were children playing on the tread mills and running around with wet bathing suites wetting all the floors. Went to check out and told the girl I was going to call C. Headquarters,she said she would get the manager to speak to us we waited 15 minutes he never came out of office. NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYBODY.

Nice Hotel

Doubletree Appeared High Class

Pros: My room was clean and spacious. No noise - good sleep without noisy interruptions. All customary amenities provided.
Cons: What I wrote above.
Location: Really near a large mall. Really great restaurants nearby. I was just visiting friends and family.
Room number locations were not easily found. Hangers request on paper never met; phone button to main desk did not work; refrigerator freezing top shelves even when turned down, causing food to freeze and be ruined; TV sound and picture on & off continually without touching control - always impossible to hear/see a program through; coffee maker leaked water from 2-cup side; temperature thermostat seems to not be working much of my time in the room; a light in bathroom kept flickering off and on. I am surprised about all the above. This place was clean and spacious. Construction was such that I could not hear noise - got good sleep without noisy interruptions. All customary amenities were provided.
